LOL - waiting for the trial to begin - listening to Wesh news - beautiful shot of Daytona Beach - waking up to 75 degrees and not going to be very hot today - only going to be 86 degrees - are they nuts?

I'm a West Coaster and I'd be dying at 86!

Don't feel bad, I dreamed about Nancy Grace one night last week. We were chatting together like old pals.

Are you the one I mentioned sitting at NG's kitchen table with her discussing the case? So funny!

I've read similar things in the twitters coming from folks in the courtroom. That in person, her coldness is more apparent than it comes across on TV. I can see how that could be. You know when you get a 'vibe' from someone that you can't explain-- they could be doing nothing more than shopping in a grocery aisle and looking incredibly normal -- yet when you pass them a chill creeps over you and your gut sinks and your skin starts to crawl? Or is that just me??? You know how you can wake someone up simply by staring at them as they sleep (my daughter can be woken this way more easily than an alarm clock)? I'm a scientist and I believe there is a vibe, for lack of a better word, that we pick up on that is not something we have a good physical description for just yet - and people in the court feel a vibe from ICA that they keep trying to name. Yes it could be because she is accused of murder and anyone would be wise to be wary of such a person. But I think it's something more, something of a sense of her real self even beyond the murder. And when trying to describe it, they just describe eyes or demeanor because that's the physical part they can name with confidence. JMO.

Yep, we discussed it on the afternoon sidebar thread. No conclusions (though a lip read of ICA saying she was right, and JB telling her she was right..) - just the sense that she was agitated or excited by something and JB passed her off to CM to handle. CM placated. ICA was asked to leave court by LE.

It's not just you...your description of a casual passing of someone in a store aisle and feeling a chill or iciness as they pass is spot on. It is one of those intangibles but it is no less real than if they actually physically touched you.

About the end of 6/08/2011 court session and ICA's trying to linger...I think the court of public opinion (Our very vocal comments from Tues 6/09), as to allowing ICA to disrupt the order of the court and its procedure, have been heard loud and clear. From the recesses telecasted, Wednesday's session, it is obvious that the deputies were given more authority to remove ICA, from the courtroom, much more efficiently. Hope it continues.

I was talking with my sister yesterday and she knows that I've been following this case and that I've been in court the last few weeks....she said she watched GR the other night so that we might be able to chat about it...told her never ever to watch him again....

I still haven't heard anyone say why they let Casey linger in court so long...first time Ive seen this before...anyone know?

The newspapers are getting access to the sidebar transcripts. Can we (WS)??

I would just like to say that I have lost faith in our justice system.
Anyone who has the misfortune of being a witness in this case is bullied and badgered by the DT, while ICA has all the "rights" and doesn't have to speak at all.
It seems the It guy from Canada had to spend another night to come back today.

I can see now why people don't report crimes.
Very discouraging.

86!

I think we hit 103 on Monday. :hot: Skirting the 100's all week! I wouldn't mind 86 right about now!

Morning.

Last night, I did alot of thinking wrt the evidence presented in court thus far. Was going to post my thoughts here this morning, but my computer was down. By the time I restored it...too late. Maybe that means I should do MORE thinking? LOL!

Gonna be 98 today in Philly!

Good morning all! Anyone catch the new NE article? Very sick and evil, if true, IMO.

I'm in the midwest, just outside of St. Louis yesterday we had a high of 94. Yes, it sucked.

I'm a west coaster myself...I'm sitting her in my long jeans, long shirt and a blanket with socks and slippers on.......dreaming of possible 70 degree weather......at least.......

Good morning from not-so-sunny South Florida y'all. This baby was practicing his football punting in my belly last night, so I spent most of the night watching videos of the trial. I'm going to need an intervention when all is said and done, I'm sure. I'm praying for some rain today, and for more clear evidence of KC's guilt.

Thanks as always to everyone for the screen caps, recaps and info/experience sharing.

I have always thought that defense attorney's were supposed to give you the best defense possible. They had their best defense possible and completely ruined it and I have no idea why?? My only conclusion would be that this is what Casey wanted and because they work for her... and she is the CEO... that they better stick to her story or else.

No defense attorney in their right mind would have ruined a completely good defense (accidental drowning/panic) and went with this asinine story. Taking any and all blame off of Casey... even to the point of blaming Cindy for leaving the ladder down... is irresponsible.

Casey should be acting distraught and remorseful for what happened to Caylee and she is not. It does not fall in line with this being an accident. They were talking about not being able to find Caylee's toes and fingers!! My God!!

I know that the defense went into this trying to get Casey off the charges of First Degree Murder, but I personally think they have only proven that Casey continues to lie, direct blame on others maliciously, and has shown that she never cared about Caylee... at all!! I think it is all Casey's fault though... because she, even with the accidental theory, refuses to take any blame. I knew she wouldn't. Her ego would never allow her to admit to anything. She, in her opinion, shares no blame in Caylee's death.

I know Casey murdered Caylee... I know it was not an accident... but you would think she could at least try and play the part of a mother suffering from a traumatic accident for the jury?? They should have used all those investigative hours on an acting coach!

Good Morning all

This may have already been posted not sure. there was a Pat Brown on HLN just a few minutes ago who is a criminal profiler who just said that she felt this was a premeditated homicide. She looked and sounded very credible.

I bet it's a very unpleasant experience for the witnesses, but I think most of them aren't actually that bothered by JB and the rest. They've all kept their cool, and I'm sure they know the court of public opinion is on their side!
