Does anyone else feel this line of questioning is completely meaningless? I feel like the DT had nothing scheduled for today and called on her to talk forensic jibberish!
Does anyone have any idea as to where this will actually lead the DT? (Besides take them up to a lunch break?)
JMO
I served on a jury for a hit and run case last year. We had a well-appointed room with a big conference table with comfortable leather chairs. There was also a nice bathroom/dressing room, small kitchenette area, and a sofa.
ETA: The jury room was located right off the main court room, so we did not go into the hall or have to interact with anyone except for the judge or court officials.
omg... can the jurors raise their hands if they are confused??
hhjp: NO
(((((THUD)))))
Maybe a squirrel used it.
I'm just getting here............who is the FBI expert on the stand?
Check out over JB's shoulder, LDB sitting and smiling away.
The expert can detect an X chromosome on the shovel, but there is no Y chromosome (or second X chromosome) peak. Therefore, she can't determine if it's female or male DNA. All of us have at least one X chromosome.
I'm not understanding how finding dna on a shovel could show contamination at the FBI lab. Can you explain further? TIA
