She did drive around with the odor coming from the trunk. When did she go to a friend's house to take a shower?

I know she drove around with the smell. I was saying Casey also knew what the SOURCE of that smell was. IFFFFF JB wants to say it was simply a bag of garbage/trash/velveeta/gatorade bottle/whatever....then SURELY Casey would have removed that bag to stop the odor from continuing to grow.

JA: Do you knwo the stages of a child's decomposing body?

Witness: I do not believe there is a study on that.

JB wants him to be able to complete his answer

HHJP Did you complete your answer

“Close enough"

Did JB not tell him the recovery site was under water for months? Flies would be everywhere? WTH?

Now Ashton moving toward getting an opinion on how long body WAS there.

Huntington says there are 5 stages of decomp, fresh, bloat, active decay, advanced, skeletal remains #CaseyAnthony -jfell

I think JA is getting this expert to show he doesn't know accurate parameters about this body decomp

Thank you Themis! Nice to put a "face" with a name ;)

So much technical stuff!

This is kind of gross-I grew up on a farm in Indiana, the vet would come out and de-horn the young cattle in the summer, the blowflys were there instantly, they would lay eggs in the open wound where the horn was and before long there were maggots, we had spray (it was purple!) to kill them.
Another name for blowflys here is "s**tflys" because they like to swarm around the manure, too.
Flies (not sure if they were coffin flies or not but they were black) would swarm around the cattle, we would spray the cows with flyspray when we milked them.
Lots of flies on the farm! Yuck-I hate them!

Had to stop home quickly...did I hear TH say a few minutes ago that decomp kills the flora grass grows in so grass will not grow?! I wonder if GA and CA realize the implications of this!

That would not be that large a space, considering.

They have dogs, maybe trees, and a drought occurred to end grass growth. They may also just be getting tired of mowing and just decided to give up on grass. (If I had a yard, there would be no grass, just flowers, veggies, and herbs. And pathways that would be made grass free.)

Stop applying common sense. That clearly isn't being used by the DT.

This is so true. And yet she drove around for weeks, complaining to her friends about the "dead squirrel" smell.

Salem

Exactly. Has anyone asked a witness what a dead squirrel smells like?

JA is asking really technical questions almost quizzing the witness.

Witness can't answer JA's simple question. Witness coming across as nervous and not very smart.

I hope if this expert was mislead (I use that term loosely) by JB , that he files a complaint with the Bar.
He doesn't seem to know the actual evidence.

Orlando area received up to 25 inches (64 cm) of rain, causing serious flooding. Native wildlife, including Inscets, were seen in flooded neighborhoods after high water forced them from their habitat.
