No, not the one. Rob Dick and Tony Padilla were vetted by Tricia and he came here to set some stories straight about Lennie. Lots of questions were answered, some evasive answers, but he appeared to be quite chatty about his uncle Lennie. I will have to look later if no one else links it.

So,Mck from your response, the DT DID mention George's meandering? or not yet? (or maybe not at all) As I said, trying to catch up.

I will look for one of those news clips from back in the day, but IIRC, (and maybe I dont recall right) that George was in the remains' area bc I recall thinkin .... hmmmmm. Need to find the clip.

About asking George and not Lee on the stand about molestation....

Ok - hypothetically only, what if Lee DID molest her and the prosecution doesnt want that out there bc that would likely help DT so they didnt ask? Im not an atty, so the strategery [tm /George W. Bush, bless his mispronouncing-things heart] the strategy escapes me.

I remember in the cell phone transcripts that TL called KC "Bella" in one conversation.

You have a great memory! On the last page, a few lines from the end, Tony calls Casey "bella mia." When I read this I thought that it was the influence for her Italian tattoo.

Not implausible scenarios you guys mention; not implausible at all imo about the trunk and tape.

I have vacillated, but at a time, I even wondered if Casey (in one of her, I'll-make-a-lie-a-reality by-repeating-it-ad-infinitum stints) - I wondered if she stuck the tape on there as an after-thought thinking, as in, "hmmmm, kidnappers put tape, so um... I need to put tape. "

Also, dont know how credible that one friend is since she sold her story to a rag, but if it WERE true that they used to put stickers on their dead pets and bury them in that area.... CHILLS...... goosey chillies.

As mentioned above, I also wondered about the dude/boyfriend not wanting kids which reminded me of that Susan Smith case.

OTOH, I can also see Cindy threatening to take Caylee and Casey thinking, "I'll kill her before I'll let you have her." Even if Casey didnt even WANT Caylee, I can totally see an, "I dont want her, but I'll be damned if you'll have her" thought process in Casey. IDK

I was shocked (and appalled?) at myself after Jose's opening statements those days weeks ago when I thought, "I'll be a .... that dude didnt do a half bad job."

Shocked ...SHOCKED at myself - I tell you - for my thinking that.

Probably because the defense team hadn't mentioned Lee. They probably figured it was best to let sleeping dogs lie instead of planting sick suspicions in the juror's minds.

I didn't watch it all but I think this is one of the kids who lives a few houses away from where Caylee was tossed by ICA. I remember the rain and how reporters were like vultures on him.

BBM. Caylee was probably suffocating while they were at blockbuster choosing movies and in the process of decomposing while they were in bed together. I'll bet it made TL take a long hard look at choosing to remain in a sexual relationship with someone he knew from the get go was not the girl for him. Sad and difficult way to learn that lesson, but it is what it is.

ETA: Ultimately it was ICA's choice to remain in the relationship after that news and by no means do I mean to imply TL has any responsiblity in what happened to Caylee. It is simply a difficult place for him to be in knowing what choice ICA made after him disclosing to her he did not wish to be a parent........

My opinion is that if Caylee were put into the trunk alive, she would not have lasted long enough for Casey to get to Blockbuster.

Once the tape was in place, Caylee was no longer able to breathe. Within 6-9 minutes, she was brain dead.

It said in the thread that someone nicely found that that search was 4 miles from their house, so no, it wasn't where she was found.
And I think the reason she looked up that scispot for how to make chloroform 84 times was to get up the nerve to finally do it.

See? I let JVM et all plant ideas in my head that I let myself get confused with actual testimony. Yes, I thought Lee WAS mentioned in testimony/statements in court re molestation; but like a doof, I only heard it on NG or JVM or fill in the blank. Thank u

I agree! The jury isn't seeing this media coverage - thank goodness! So, they won't be persuaded by it. They will be basing their verdict on the evidence.

I guess by November, JB's experts could have known the body was badly decomposed. I picture JB and ICA scrambling to go on with Plan A kidnapping and stick with that, Plan B oops -I'm arrested for murder even without a body, Plan C -it got worse- now DP case so now it was an accident and dad abused me, etc.

Maybe that's why they hired the bug guy the day the body was discovered.
