Guess what, JB. In the Tim Masters case, the victim was found the next day in a field, and the clothing was kept in a police locker for 20 years. NOT UNDERWATER!!!

Yes, JB tried to imply it was out in the elements for 20 years. I noticed that too so I'm sure the Jury did.

So now I'm confused by the DT. Dr. Spitz says duct tape was applied direct on bone. Dr E said you can't hardly get DNA off surface of bone. Dr. E says its maybe possible to get DNA off duct tape if put on mouth full of skin. So which theory are we looking at? JMO :waitasec:

So what is the point here? There was no DNA. JB keeps acting like "Well there's DNA in other cases sooo..." Ok, JB - so... what?

Is he going to say that GA used some sort of magic DNA-be-gone machine that he has developed (and probably plans to sell for profit, lol). Sorry I don't get it.

but... there was no dna on the tape except the fbi contamination lady which the defense called LOL..

this is crazy

@stevehelling Yes, I have a question. What seat will you be sitting in for the #CaseyAnthony retrial?

All JB is doing is reinforcing the fact that MAYBE they could have found more DNA...but he DIDN'T ASK the good Dr to try it!

EXACTLY! And the reason he didn't ask is ...... might be ICA's.

What is the point of putting a witness up on the stand to say the SA could have tested the DNA using this new procedure but they didn't as well (DT). What are you trying to hide? "Hello, Kettle, I think you are black" said the pot.

I'm feeling really stupid right now because I am totally lost with this testimony.
Is ALL this really all for proving there may have been a DNA profile under the contaminated profile on the Duct tape? really???

I wish they'd stick with things that are specific to this case.

I'm actually probably in the minority who thinks LWOP is a worse fate for ICA than the DP, simply because she is young. Not sure if it would be cheaper though.

I know LWOP is worse- it is just days stretching in to years with no end in sight. And I'm fairly certain is is cheaper to house and feed an inmate (any serious illness aside) than to pay for the endless automatic appeals in a Death case.

Does any think the jury has got to be wondering why the DT did not test the duct tape? I'm thinking because he was afraid he might find ICA's DNA on it.

That is what I think too.

Why NOT send the tape along with the bag and shorts for more extensive testing?

Re-cross suggestion:

JA: Mr. DNA Expert, it the person responsible for this child's death hadn't dumped her in a trash heap in the middle of a swamp in the heat of summer and during the rainy season, is it possible law enforcement might have found Touch DNA on the duct tape?

Expert: Yes.

JA: No further questions.

i think the jury is asking themselves, what has this got to do with this case?
jb is just wasting our time.

Since the duct tape has not been manufactered for years wouldn't there be some type of DNA on it because someone had to buy it, use it, tear pieces off with their bare hands. If DNA survives on an object for 20 years why is there NO DNA on this tape from the person who tore the tape, bought the tape, put the tape away, etc. and of course, where is Caylee's because it was tangled with Caylee's hair?

I'm pretty sure I read a Tweet where the Deputy brought in more notebooks for some of the jurors. I think that many will be noting the discrepancies. :)

Examples of profiles that were exposed to 'similar' environments. He has profiles on 20 year old panties.

It sounds like JB is trying to drag out this witness to the end of the day.
