Ct found that any arguments concerning post death placement of duct tape on victims faces was irrational and they found there was no reason for duct tape to be placed after death and dismissed all arguments made on that basis.

why are people thinking manslaughter?

doesn't the duct tape on Caylee's mouth & head kind of imply premeditation?

there would be no reason to apply it after death correct?

LOL! I always look for him now and I wonder all day who he is (that's my ADD at work.) He always has on a nice suit, wire rimmed glasses, that kind of longish hip hairstyle and a sweet boyish puppy dog face, right? I see him with a laptop but that's all the clues I've got. Now my ADD is demanding to know who he is!

But Cindy was not the last one to be in charge of what Caylee was wearing.
Casey was. And she may have picked the baby up out of her crib or bed or her car seat. And if she had had shoes on then if she was carried unconscious, those may have fallen off. Pick up a sleeping toddler from a car seat and if they have sandals or crocs that often fall right off.

If Caylee snuck into the pool , I doubt she would have put shoes on. MOO

We have a sliding glass door and our daughter helps out by letting the dogs in/out when we're tied up in the kitchen, or something. She's 6, and it's only been in the past few months that she could open the door. She still sometimes has to put one foot up on the frame to leverage herself by pushing off. No way in heck could she have opened a slider at age < 3!!!

Not to mention we don't have a dangerous pool outside of our door, either. If we did, that door would be child proofed. IMO, as careful as the A's were about safety, Caylee couldn't open that door - if she could, they would have put a kid lock on it. They hadn't gotten around to that yet because she was too little to get it open.

My boys can and do open the slider door here and they are just now 3.5 and one of them has been able to do so for a long time. One breaks free and it's pack mentality.

Just because a child proof lock was put on it doesn't mean that somebody stepping out that door and didn't lock it back up properly.

I honestly have to say I don't see how this family is so dysfunctional; perhaps because mine is too, don't we all have sibling rivaly, a love-hate relationship with mom, and a "cousin eddy"? What is normal? Is it normal to want to hide or not face your single 19-year old daughter pregnant with no father in sight? Maybe? At any rate, at risk of sounding cold, I see no point in raising rape/dysfunction/incest/poverty, ect. until the penalty phase. We have a CHOICE, if you are god fearing - GOD gave us a choice! Guilty or not? THEN, show mercy based on circumstance. Not every victim of a weird family should be exonerated from killing their child, or lieing to police, or showing no remorse at the death of a child

First of all she is not a child. Twelve and thirteen year old girls do not go to school and play. At one time we were just learning all this garbage about Casey and it got worse and worse. It's no secret that a lot of people really, really hate her. The ones that count is the jury. I believe Robert Blake got off imo because the victim was made out to be a dubious character at best.

I guess if I want to see what my child's hair looks like I would just ask her to turn around so I could look at it, unless I wanted to save a picture of a hairstyle I had created on my child for posterity. I generally am more interested in my child's/grandchild's face.

This was not the case in this photo though..it was a little girl purported to be Caylee, opening a door she couldn't and shouldn't open, If that had been me I would have put down the camera and told her to stop and locked the door.

I guess I missed something, where is this photograph? TIA.

JA did a very good job at discrediting LA, the tears were for the "totality" of the entire mess (didn't want to be there, etc). He showed Bias big time toward the DT and then LA "forgot" everything but his name during cross IMO

The absence of shoes doesn't mean anything .There was no bathing suit.That doesn't mean anything ,either .Toddlers drown fully clothed with shoes,because they fall in. They aren't anticipating going into the water.They often will reach for something that's in the water. Toddler's are head heavy which makes them off balance when they lean forward.
If the drowning story were true (I don't believe it) Caylee would just as likely have shoes on as not.
The shoes mean nothing .

(imo) --if it were placed after death, for example, for my thought process, I can envision that in ICA's mind it would more likely to make it appaear that the evil kidnappers snatched her.

I wish I was as positive as some of you that Casey will be convicted. Especially of 1st degree murder. I think the most she will be convicted of is the manslaughter job and the lying to LE job. I definitely do not think she will get 1st degree murder or even aggravated child abuse.
