guilt is a heavy burden to carry. It will last a long time, imho. I hope she sees Caylee every night when she closes her eyes. Then maybe she'll look at the evidence.

We've seen it many, many times on 20/20, Dateline, etc. over the years. Months/years after a questionable (to the public) verdict, many members of a jury are seated in a room, being taped for an upcoming show, they are asked;
"If you had seen all the evidence that wasn't allowed in court, would your mind have been changed, would you have voted differently?"

Almost every show like this that I've seen over the years, the jurors that were willing to go on camera state that yes, their verdict would have been different.

I am wondering how long it will take for one of these TV shows to do something like this with jurors from Casey's trial.
Show those jurors a lot of what wasn't allowed in the trial, and see if they would have had a different outcome.
THAT'S one TV show about Casey and the trial I will want to see.

I read this man's book.....the one he wrote about Scott Peterson.
To say he didn't know the case as well as WSers is an understatement!
The book (IMHO) was chock full of mistruths, INcorrect information not only about SP but about his family.
I would never purchase another book by this uh....um....... 'psychiatrist'.

After the media frenzy, do you honestly think the prosecutors would have just "let it go" and cancelled the trial if the DT had come to them with this information?

Initially - of course! But if ICA had told the drowning story in the first place, there would have been no duct tape, no decomp in the trunk, no triple bagged body in the trunk, no 31 days, no lying to the LE, no 911 call, no millions of Florida Tax money spent prosecuting and defending this "person" - the list goes on and on.

I don't think anyone views the SA or the police in Florida as people who are sitting around waiting for something to do each work day. And let's remember who caused the media frenzy. Not the SA or the OCSD, but Mr. Baez himself-long before ICA was charged with a capitol offense.

I just heard JVM say on HLN that there has been a motion filed to release the jail video of ICA reaction to Caylee being found. I can't find a link yet but I'm going to keep looking.

Cabin girl you really need to go back and watch video of JA and LDB giving closing arguments. They were awe inspiring and dead on. Very emotional time but I feel our prosecutors did the best they could for Caylee and then 12 people who couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to the facts came along.....

pinkfly, my husband recorded it for me. I haven't watched yet. My daughter tells me JA and LDB were awesome and in hearing this I can't imagine why the jury was so sloppy in their own work. My daughter tells me they didn't even take their notebooks with them? I don't understand it. :banghead:

Keith Abalow is a quack, IMO. I'd buy a book by the musical grief specialist before I'd read anything this guy had to say. :loser:

It does not seem accurate to have "guilty" or "not guilty" be the only options. In Scotland they have "guilty" or "not proven." This way, the jury is not saying the person is "not guilty", just that they do not believe the state proved it. JMO

Scott Peterson's appeal is around the corner and many will be surprised at how lame his trial was. Best to pay close attention.

None of this speech makes any sense -- is there anyone out there who can put this into context for us???

I hate to bring the house down by my comments, but LA testified how disgusted he was that his parents were looking for a dead Caylee in October and he was the last to know, because up to that point he'd always believed she was alive and was putting his efforts into unraveling his sisters lies and finding her.

And I want to say - I think he is one very odd duck. And I think - despite his sisters manipulations and lies, he loved her. But I also believe at this point he was feeling shattered by the understanding that a little niece he barely knew was gone forever. Her death caused a breach in the family that will never be mended. And here it comes - although the way he expressed himself was creepy, I always thought he was talking about Caylee.

The way he looked at ICA when he was on the stand - he still cares for her because of what they shared in the past as siblings, but she disgusts him and she knows it.

I've tried listening to it as if he was talking to ICA. I remember watching it as if he was talking about Caylee and thinking he is one weird dude but loved his niece - and then have relistened because of what 99.9% of the posters were saying to see if I had slipped over to the dark side some how and he was talking to and about ICA but it makes no sense at all that way. He knows she is a habitual liar - and his comment I believe everything my sister says was the height of sarcasm. Lee is the person who was never in touch with ICA, he was suspicious when he spoke to her at the jail, he did not attend any hearings unless he had to, nor any of the trial. He has never made a statement in her defense. And I don't think he ever will.

Sorry folks I don't mean to upset any of you when we are already in deep pain, but there it is.

Just about the time I felt like I was cooling off here comes in the postman today. OMG!

There was almost a fight right here in my work place. I knew how he felt cause he has been saying all alone she will walk. I refused to talk to him last week after the verdict was read. So today I felt like I could speak to him and first thing out of his mouth was I told you. Wrong thing to say to me on a Monday morning after a week long Casey Anthony NG verdict hang over. I really think this postman's family or relative was on the jury.

Or if we tell them I’m not completely sure on the spelling or I’m not completely sure on this or that. They take everything exactly up front to the ‘T’. Exactly how you provide it. So if it’s off at all they don’t even think to look in any other areas….
CASEY: That’s why I gave them things multiple times. Each officer I gave the same information at least two or three times, I’ve done the same thing with you, the same thing with mom, the same thing with Jose. Everyone has the same information, same spelling, same names. None of that has changed.

located on Conway Rd. Caylee's nanny Zenaida Fernandes-Gonzalez has watched her for the past year and a half, to two years. Zenaida is twenty-five years old, and is from New York. She is roughly 5 foot 7 inches tall, 140 pounds. She has dark brown, curly hair, and brown eyes. Zenaida's birthday is in September. I met Zenaida, through a mutual friend, Jeffery Michael Hopkins. She had watched his son, Zachary Hopkins, for aout 6 months, to a year. I met Zenaida in 2004, around Christmas. On the date listed above, June 9, 2008, after dropping Caylee off at Zanaida's apartment, I proceeded to head to my place of employment, Universal Studios Orlando. I have worked at Universal for over 4 years, since June of 2004. I left work around 5pm, and went back to the apartment to pick-up my daughter. However after reaching the apartment I realized that neither Zenaida, Caylee, or either of her two roommates were home. I have briefly met Raquel Farrel, and Jennifer Rasa, on various occasions. After calling Zenaida to see where she and Caylee were, and when they were coming home, I waited outside of the apartment. I had called Zenaida :sigh:

the jury should be ashamed of themselves, and yes we can criticize the jury, they don't get credit just for showing up, they didn't do their job.
Not only did they fail Caylee by not finding Casey guiltly but they further disrespected her memory by not even deliberating.

I have heard it said over nad over that being a liar doesn'y make you are murderer
But when you lie about the wherabouts of your missing daughter and the circumstances surrounding her dissapearance, then she is found in the woods with duct tape on her face

I guess the jury also thought the cadeuver dogs were in on the conspiracy to get Casey too.
