Omg I've wanted to scream what you posted--

DID they not SEE the form?!?!?!?

Instructions must have been too complicated and unsuited for short attention-spans

Maybe if they'd written the forms in text-speak .... ?

omgosh :floorlaugh: YES text speak may be the way of future trials. (Thanks for the laugh laserdisc.)

Maybe he was the juror that did the winking per the tweet that went out during the trial.

Something I'm trying to figure out is this..From the jurors who have spoken they keep saying "if they had charged her with something else"
Did they not see the form? Was there a copy for each of them? Did the foreman have the only copy?

I just can't figure out why they keep saying that.

It's a cop-out!. They have to come up with something. The fact is they were charmed by the tiny narcissitic witch.

Speaking of this why didn't the State show how upset KC was that she didn't get to go to Puerto Rico with her friends? I think that is one area they messed up with was not showing more dysfunction in the family, that Cindy was always after KC to watch her own child, that she wanted to go with her friends but Cindy wouldn't let her. This jury didn't have the brains to figure out scientific stuff so you needed more usual human drama to show them what was going on.

In Hind site there are many things that could have been brought in. The truth is,they presented a pretty good case without everything. There were posters on here who were sitting on the fence or thinking manslaughter, but changed their minds to Felony murder. No one really believed 12 people would agree to aquittal and so quickly!. At the very least a hung jury.
Something is hinky . If even 1 juror had conviction they would have deliberated longer. I don't know what happened ,but it stinks at bad as Casey's car .
You know if we have suspicions then HHJP must ,also. I would not be surprised if there is a quiet inquiry going on right now. He doesn't strike me as someone to say "oh well" .

Or maybe court-room juries would prefer to text in their verdict after watching animated prosecution and defence online ?

So with this terrible outcome I wonder if there is anything that can be done ? It seems there is a lot of speculation that some of the jurors may have misunderstood the directions on how to deliberate. The joke about txt speech brings a sound point. Of course you can't put in txt speech the rules and directions but what could be done?

The judge gives the orders right then and there in court. How to determine wether or not EVERYONE understands. Of course you will have your foreman, and there is a good chance that there will be a bully on the jury because there is a bully in every mix of people. So how can this be repaired?

There have been many people who have shared their stories here about jury duty. It seems that juries tend to talk about the trial before they are suppose to and that many people want to go home before its time. So... will things change because of this? Are the powers to be paying attention to this?

Casey seemed to surround herself mainly with guys, not young women her own age. Granted she was friends with Amy but other than Amy (who had only known Casey for a few months), who did we see testify that was a female friend? And for that matter, how often did she have Caylee with her around Amy? Mallory's testimony was just bizarre. One one hand she says she and Casey were not all that close but then says she had an amazing bond with Caylee. How on earth would she be able to have that opinion if she and Casey were not that close.

Women are, in my opinion, more likely to notice and gauge whether another woman is a good mother. Yes, Tony and his roommates are now saying that they wondered where Caylee was all that time during the 31 days but guys that age, particularly ones that do not have children of their own, are not going to question it all that much other than think of it, question, then shrug it off. Women, on the other hand, are most likely going to delve a little more deeper and not too long begin to think this situation is just not normal and something is very odd here. It's too bad Maria wasn't there longer or didn't live there. I think if she had, the lid would have been blown off of this situation much sooner that it was. She noticed just the weekend she was there things were "off" a bit.

Nate did say on the Sean Hannity radio show this week that he said to Casey one time during this period "are you you have a daughter? I'm beginning to think that you don't really have one" or something to that effect. I can't remember his exact words. He said she just laughed it off, kept on cooking and said oh she's at yada yada yada (my yada not his - he said where Casey said she was) with the nanny. He said that he often thought there really wasn't a nanny cause he knows how expensive it would be for Caylee to have been with a nanny as much as Casey said she was. He said he usually just thought she was really with Casey's mom and Casey was saying nanny to look cool or something. He said thinking back on that conversation now he thinks it is just down right eery that she could have that kind of joking/laughing response to his comment now knowing what he knows (i.e. that Caylee was already dead and in that swamp on Suburban). It was a very interesting interview that he had with Sean Hannity. He was on the phone with him for about 30 minutes.

IMO

ETA - I forgot to mention that Nate also said he wanted to dispel the rumors out there that Tony did not like Caylee being around and had told Casey he did not want kids. He said what had actually been said is that their apartment was a "college guys" apartment and that they all felt that environment was not necessarily a good place for a toddler to be around but that they all, including Tony, really liked Caylee and enjoyed her being around when she was there. Yes, he said they had all said this to Casey.

So, in my mind, it's very clear why Caylee all the sudden became a problem for Casey. She was infatuated with Tony and his lifestyle. Ricardo didn't seem to have a problem with sleeping in the same bed with Casey and Caylee. Tony obviously did.

I also heard Nate's interview with Hannity. It was very interesting.

This young alternate juror is unbelievable. I think he was totally taken by our Miss Casey.

"Why would you use chloroform AND duct tape, doesn't make sense."

But using chloroform OR duct tape on a three year old child, dead or alive, makes perfect sense?

Gawd, these people:banghead:

If you're asking me, then No.

As I've stated before, I didn't see any evidence that she killed her.

JA said in an interview that the general public couldn't see the actual pictures of the duct tape over her face, but he was surprised the jurors didn't see it as the murder weapon since it covered so much of her face.
So unless you were in the courthouse you didn't get to see the evidence that she killed her.

There were a few other female friends of Casey's that were interviewed by LE but didn't testify in court. I think two of the friends Lauren Gibbs and Melina Calabrese told LE that they caught Casey lying about working a sporting store. I believe there were few other young women who talked to LE about their friendships with Casey.

I also observed Casey having closer friendships with males. Tony fasttracked a relationship with Casey. He and his friends were pretty naive back then. They barely knew Casey and so they easily believed anything she said. I think Maria seems to be very intelligent and she probably noticed certain things that Clint and the guys didn't. I agree if Maria had spent more time at Tony's or lived there she could have blown the lid off faster. The weekend she spent there, she was probably the only who noticed something being off with Casey. In the trial, I think Baez caught onto her intelligence and he asked her question if she was jealous of Casey at the apartment with Nate and the other guys. I think Maria probably didn't like Casey but she probably wasn't threatned by her.

I agree women sometimes notices things that men don't realize or pick up on. Clint said in the past in different interviews that the guys liked Casey and they having Caylee around because she was cute. I think Maria as I mentioned before, might have thought it was weird that Casey would be ok with Caylee being around young men while she was in Tony's room. Maria did ask Casey about Caylee's father. Maybe Maria was being nosy or maybe she had concern for Tony and wanted to know if a father was in the picture. Maria said in her LE interview that Casey told her that her parents were giving her their house and she said that it seemed weird to her.

I guess the witnesses who proved she was a terrible mother were the many who testified that she showed NO CONCERN at all that her child was missing.

That ,to me, is quite a bit of evidence that she is a TERRIBLE MOTHER. The jury ignored all of that and just chalked it up to 'emotion'--just like Baez asked them to.

I still just want to scream! Did they not listen to jailhouse tapes, the Universal interview? Everything was proven to be a lie, she knew her child was dead. I would love to get an explanation what they felt about all that.

Now that they have been home a few days and have had time to read and see what happened, I am sure they are MORE than sick to their stomachs.

Seeing a picture of duct tape on a skull wouldn't prove to me that it was the murder weapon. It would just prove that there's duct tape on a skull. I am guessing that at least some of the jury viewed it the same way, and wouldn't be able to label it as the murder weapon without knowing an actual cause of death.
