I too feel terrible for Cindy. It seems like in some weird controlling way, she viewed herself also as Caylee's mom. I can see that, since she takes care of her in all the ways Casey couldn't. I just wish now Cindy would snap out of it. She wanted justice for Caylee that day, why not now? Why not anymore? Now she fights for the daughter that she couldn't trust.

That's why I do NOT fel sorry for CA. She let KC have her, when she knew better. Now, she is obstructing justice for the poor baby.

All I feel for CA is utter disgust.

Not sure KC deleted material from computer then because she couldn't have known her mom and Amy were going to suddenly pop up at TonE's apt.

She well may have, however.

What bothers me is that Lee left the Anothny home for TonE's apt at midnight and didn't return until 2:25am. That sure is a lot of time just to pick up your sister's stuff.

Notice how much time he spent talking about the state of the computer and that he was also checking it. Ahem.

But they also had the computer long enough to create the new myspace pages,etc. This gave Casey plenty of time to "delete" the emails. And I say that in quotes b/c in cyberspace, nothing is ever TRULY deleted. (as PP mentioned)

Tony told Amy that he told LE about that text. LE doesn't seem to know about this text message during Amy's interview.

When Lee describes Casey explaining how maybe it's time the police were called on her I got chills. She KNEW at the moment she had done something wrong. Casey did feel some guilt, I know it...just Cindy made her so mad she shoved the guilty feelings away. But I think Lee saw one brief, chilling moment where Casey knew she was in the wrong and maybe even was crying out for help in her way.

KC is a sociopath. Sociopaths feel self-preservation, not guilt. She started losing it when Lee told her the cop would make her show him where Caylee was.

With respect, NO, she was not crying out for help in her own, little way. Nor was she disclosive to the cops, in her own, little way. Nor, has she been looking for Caylee, in her own little, "backwards" way. Nor have the grandparents been trying to get the truth out of her, in their own way.

KC is about protecting KC. Since the forensics came down, so are the grandparents.

I think KC sis it, but now the whole family is involved in covering for her, after the fact.

If she felt ONE iota of guilt, she would be looking for her child, not partying every night. Or, she'd tell the cops where the child is, so she can have a decent burial. Nobody in the family seems to care about that.

LE didn't seem to be aware that Casey even had her phone back at this time to be able to text Tony. Apparently Tony told Amy that he and Casey had talked on the phone on the 16th prior to her arrest.

I'm not sure what to think about that.

I have never felt before that anyone was responsible for Casey's actions except Casey ... no matter how she was raised ... I still feel that way ... but I will acknowledge that this family is toxic.

I agree. Plenty of people from toxic families turn out OK.

All she had to do, to get away from her family, was get a job and rent a place.

I have found his demeanor flippant and odd since one of the first times I saw him interviewed on the news and I do not trust this guy but I kind of got the sense that he was much more honest during this interview than later on. I would love your perspective.

it's more difficult to assess the laughing in a transcript....i would have to hear the actual taped conversation, but i'm *guessing* it is more out of nervousness than humor.....maybe he wanted to be sure he was saying the right thing or he was emphasizing the point he thought was important.

I was just thinking that. It is hard to tell what any of them are REALLY saying without hearing it. There is no emotion in things like this and it is needed and adds a bunch! My poor printer is working overtime. This is better than Christmas and from what I can tell so far, even after todays documents, there will still be at least 700 more to come!!
