Again: Where was Casey going for two years?

I agree KC was not an escort or whatever. She may have entertained the idea, but I don't think she went quite that far. Besides, she likes an audience.

I do think she probably filled in at Fusian a few times. In some of her text messages she talks about "closing time" and "one table left" or something to that affect. She would be paid in cash and probably earn some good tips. It would provide some quick money other than what she could steal.
But if Casey was truly working there, wouldn't hey have allowed her her own tab? According to TL, she cost him a nice penny on at least one occasion.

If were looking at psych profile and were finding many terms to describe KC, You may have to think like a sociopath for her daytime dalliences. KC appears to be good with people (reading their emotions to give an accurate response) It is proven to the point, like someone slapping us, that KC had no problems with keeping up with men. From one nights stands, all the way to her LE interview. Many of the women involved in this case haven't been manipulated in the same way as her men friends. I do remember amy's stolen money and of course Annie. I truly feel KC is imtimidated by other young women who are climbing the Independence latter. Female peers enjoy a good friend that they can relate to more than guys who want a friendship. KC had nothing in common with any of the females involved in this case except partying. Those party girls didn't have to wake up in the mornings to feed,a child. So where would a girl whos considered a sociopath with a child go in the daytime. Answer is, Anywhere she wants. She is a free agent for who ever offers up the most entertainment to get her mind off ugly coping. If you stick to this mode, it has to be with men. So my vote goes to running amuck in her small orlando area, partying with friends of another sex. No amount of washing off spots (literally) from KC will change the fact that mommy and daddy looked the other way for the past 2-3 yrs. I feel the "I will not be ignored" CA affect and KC affect spontainously combusted after many months and gA picked up the pieces, and wasn't able to put them together in a timely fashion before KC said, "Well maybe I'm a spitefull *****. After that comment it was downhill and still is.

This has bothered me too. We do know from George's interview with the FBI that there were over 1200 indiscreet photos of Casey that were found on the computer at home. The FBI agent described them as "real bad." I have wondered, since Casey was into photography, if she wasn't attempting to set up a little *advertiser censored* operation starring her. She may not have gotten far enough that she sold more than one or two of the photos (such as the one we all saw months ago.) I think she might have taken the photos and been working on them in Photoshop - realistically, most photos need some enhancement to remove imperfections. That can take up a great deal of time.

The question as to why none of the neighbors ever noticed her returning home has always puzzled me. I realize a lot of people might be working, but even so, everyone has sick days and days off, so I would think someone would have noticed it. Either that or Casey just had incredibly good luck in never being noticed coming back home after George left. But then, that's another issue - George seems to have not been employed quite a bit, so when he was off work, where did Casey go?

The way suburban neighborhoods and subdivsions are today, not a lot of people even know their neighbors' names, let alone pay attention to their comings and goings. Where I grew up in a small town along the Ohio River, people knew everybody in each house for blocks, knew their kids, sometimes even their parents. But I'd be hard-pressed to name more than just a few of my neighbors, and I'm sure most would say the same about me.

If KC were truly worried about her car being spotted, she could have parked it a block or two away and just walked on over to Hopespring. But somehow I don't think she gave a hoot who saw her, or when. She was all about KC, all the time.

Ok...just a thought...one I've been thinking of lately...but what if Casey deliberately got pregnant so she could get Cindy off her back about getting a job? That would obviously only work for so long.

(Sorry...I'm sure this must have been discussed to death, but it's been so long)

I thought that someone in the neighborhood might have noticed her comings and goings, but then after I thought about, neighbors seeing her car at home WAS normal.

Especially after reading the neighbors view of CA/GA, they didn't exactly have an open door policy for their neighbors, coffe and chitty chatter, like our neighborhood does.

Sure would like to see the 45K credit card bills of Cindy's....bet they would shed some light.

To the local Motel to meet her clients is my best guess.

It's entirely possible that both George and Cindy knew that Casey wasn't working since Caylee was born. They seem to put up a facade for the rest of the family, and it is possible that they just continued the fable that Casey started - She was working at Universal. The family seems to hold their cards close to the vest i.e. Caylee's impending birth - denied up until the last minute. It seems the important thing was putting up appearances. Casey told her friends she was enrolled in college, that she was working as an "event planner". Sounded good. If Casey decided to go shopping - she simply went shopping. I don't think they squawked a bit about her spending habits until she spent GrandPa's money. They were all busted by the family on that one. It couldn't be denied. I think Cindy blew a gasket on that one. Casey was outed. They all live in a world of denial. The Anthonys are ostriches.

Casey used the word "Nanny" instead of the word babysitter to keep up the appearance of class and wealth. She learned this from her parents. It started when she was much younger. She simply continued what she was taught - Keeping up appearances.

Now, Casey and the Anthonys are busted by the entire world. The rotten egg has cracked open and the smell has seeped out and contaminated all involved. They are no longer "special". They are as common as dandelions.

So many factors have been put into play over the years culminating in the death of a precious child. Who is responsible? They all contributed to this, each in his own way. And they are STILL trying to live the facade. They are all delusional.

I'm not saying she had a full-fledge job at Fusian, but perhaps worked a few nights. As far as a tab, she didn't drink much according to her friends and rather than put in on her bill, I'm sure she could have easily put it on TL's bill. I just remember a picture or two of her in the same shirt as the shot girls that did work there. Who knows with her, the text messages about this were probably lies too.

I think kc could have been a "rounder". Someone who rounds up people to come in. Perhaps she was given a kick back for every head she brought in to Fusion, because she seems to have worked very hard to get people come in.

I am certain the SA AND the FBI and PROVE her NON working conditions of "employment. Gee, I do my taxes on turbo tax and that stuff finds every little bit of income and deductions. My daughter is only 17 but still gets a W2 we MUST report on our income. Where is Casey's? I am sure we are going to hear much more about this.

And...........OT.....where is Lee?

KC wasn't working so she had no need for a W2. One usually does not report to the government moneys stolen from friends and family as income.

As of last Sunday.....he was home. Saw his car in the driveway.......This would be the night before the infamous "Lois vs. The A's" car chase rodeo. Good for him staying off the radar.....I swear he is the only one in that family with half a brain. I have not measured, but am making assumptions based on what we have seen.

CA said in the depo that she assumed KC was doing her own taxes, and never bothered her about it because (paraphrase) KC was a grown woman. Said maybe she saw a W-2 come in the mail for KC one time....

Couple problems here: While KC is (technically!) an adult, and would not be on her parents 1040 if she were working FT (making enough money to support herself), we know she was not making a living wage and GA/CA knew this, too.
If CA/GA were paying more than half of KC's living expenses, they could report her as their dependent. Which is a help on their own return-And they needed money, too! So why wouldn't they ever ask her if they might be able to claim her on their own return? Get some of that money/tax relief back from what KC stole!
Also, since when did CA start treating KC like a responsible adult (not that KC merited it)?

GA/CA qualified to claim Caylee as a dependent. KC did not. If she was claiming Caylee to get the EIC, and had ever been audited, she would have been busted!

GA/CA could only claim KC too if she was a full-time student. (Till age 24)

A job like that requires a woman to pay complete attention to the client. Casey was never off her cell phone long enough to do any such thing.

TonE told LE she "wanted to be a part of that" but she was not employed there. She did it "As my girlfriend" (per TonE in doc. Someone just bumped that document up the other day, in fact.)

TonE discussed this with LE. It's in the documents (if anyone knows where to find the document I am refering to could you please link it? I'm horrible at that stuff) I just read it again like a day or two ago so it can't be too far!!

She was likely "freelancing" ( as in truly free and not as a free agent) in the hopes that she could:
1. Keep tabs on her flavor of the moment.
2. Appear as if she was invested in the club and thus worthy of a real job.
3. Score free beverages.
4. Network and identify her next target.
5. Have a reason not to go home.
6. Have an opportunity to hook up.
7. Keep her finger on the pulse of Orlando nightlife.
8. Impress any of her friends that she begged to come visit the club.
9. Occupy her time so she would forget about what she "had done".

Huh? I don't understand . . .

Sorry there was a locked thread that was posted that said go here for live chat and I went because I can't post what I want to post b/c it is off topic.

I think KC btw got her jollies off "lying" to her parents and scamming them for money. I think she thought both were idiots to various degrees. But I think her mom was hip to her in some way that really got to her.
