LOL. Cyanide pills? Where is she gonna get those? Hitler?
The state of Az should be so lucky- it would save them millions.

I guess that would give me my wish of watching her drop to the floor...
But I meant when the verdict was read...

We need a violin. JC discusses how JA's mother said (paraphrasing) JA could help the other prisoners.

From what we have heard about JA around people she doesn't want to use, she is pretty much antisocial I thought.

Help others, no thanks JA!

I agree. She has a very twisted view of the world. That's why we are here today. :( Religious My Eye.

I LOVED hearing the strength of the voice of every jury member, when they said "YES"!!!!

The confidence in their voices was a beautiful thing!!!!!!!!

I thought someone was going to say 'hell yes!' Lol!

No hesitation from anyone.

Something to think about if the recommended sentence is LWOP:

During her interrogation by Det. Flores, she said, "There were just so many times when I threw my responsibilities to the wind and went on a road trip with him, because I am a little irresponsible, not just with him, it was because of the traveling."

And during the interview on Fox yesterday she said, "the worst outcome would be natural life . . . . in one place."

Jodi will probably get LWOP since she is mentally unstable. Thoughts?

No. I think the jurors realize just how evil she truly is. She cannot hide behind any diagnosis anymore. She butchered Travis. She continues to slander Travis even post-verdict. She has no remorse. They will sentence her to death.

Because of the nature of the crime, the character of the victim, and his family I personally believe death is a very possible possibility. ;)

I also don't (can't) see personality disorder as mental illness in the same vein as other illnesses in which people don't have the same level of choice. I don't believe it should be a factor.

No you were right, she also criticized her own lawyers for withholding evidence that she was far away with her sister during the break-in and that there were pictures of bruising. She also criticized Juan for doing shady things.

Basically, like usual, JA is not at fault, everyone else is.

She alluded to the sister thing before on the stand. I'm sure Nurmi had good reason for keeping her sister from testifying. She's not credible.

Jodi admitted to being the last one at her house before the break-in and that break-in can't be dated exactly. I believe that immediately after the break-in she tried to fake an alibi with her sister. It's how she operates.

1. What is your impression about the "Non-sequestration" of Arizona juries? Do you think it is "Good" or "Bad"?

Not crazy about it, but understandable given the court schedule and length of some trials, especially this one! To the juror's credit, I believe they have been very disciplined in not listening, watching or reading media

2. What do you think of jurors being able to ask witnesses questions?

Fantastic! I knew after the 1st round of questions it was all over for JA

3. What do you think of Juan Martinez? Do you think his prosecution style warranted all the negativity by the TH's?

Far, far more brilliant than any of the legalese people trotted out by the media. A genius

I know Juan was prevented by the judge to speak about her complete and total lack of remorse previously.

Can he now? I certainly hope so!

Like NG said...after the prosecutor, the next people the defendant goes after is their own attorneys.

Nurmi and Willmott had better hope they didn't tell her any professional or personal "secrets".

If I was Willmott I'd be grabbing those notebooks her and Arias have been scribbling in these past four months or we all might be reading excerpts from them in the National Enquirer.

You're right! And in fact that's what she did. NG reported that back at the jail JA got into a heated lashing out at her attorney's. They probably secretly can't wait to Clorox off their hands of her. Wilmott always looks mildly agitated when she interacts with her. All of Wilmotts smirks, snarky laughs and semi-passion in court was not for Jodi- it more likely is just because that's her competitive style.

And I personally hope Dior and Guess SUE her pants off for selling their intellectual property when she faked their ads in her drawings for profit.

I don't think it will even come into play. If she WAS mentally unstable, they would have gone for an insanity plea, but in Arizona, you are found "Guilty but insane". That only puts the defendant in a secure prison "mental institution" until the defendant is mentally capable of serving out their time. (including DP)

The DT had almost 5 years to get a mental health eval done on her, so it would be "too little, too late". And it would have to fit the mental disorders that would qualify as "insane". BPD and Anti-Social PD (Sociopathy) do not qualify.

What does this mean? The video request?

she wants the Alexanders to video tape their victim statements. She doesn't want to them to deliver the live in court .:stormingmad: I hope each of them get up and I hope the court makes her look at them.

Honestly, I wish she could be excluded. I've thought for a long time she gets a thrill off their pain. :(

Better yet, make her sit there and listen with a blindfold and handcuffs on!! :)

Ditto! All of the above
