All this mental health talk, or the idea that CW somehow played her, is nonsense. VC wanted some badboy, forbidden fruit sex.
Simple. There are thousands of examples on here of sex clouding every normal judgment, seemingly growing by the day, and these two are the latest to get their comeuppance.
Money truly being the root of all evil has a very strong opponent in sex, IMO

@margarita25 thank you for posting the videos. The second video shows plastic on the driver side window. Apparently the keys were still in the vehicle, so no one had to break the window. Was the vehicle sold that way when they paid cash to the guy or did something happen after the purchase???

I copied the video to start where the truck is to make it easy for everyone.

I saw that too and wondered about it. I noticed before I knew it was purchased and not stolen. At the time I thought it was stolen so that may have had something to do with it. Maybe it creates a visual barrier for the vehicle driving next to them on the road so if someone looks that way then they can't really see them properly. Or it was sold like that and for a cheaper price.

Well, Vikcky is dead. We will never hear her story or understand her unique and twisted thought process. I'm left here to wonder and draw my own conclusions. What if gender roles were reversed?

Perhaps CW grew up in an abusive environment and turned to a life of violence and crime, he also suffers mental health issues that make him particularly vulnerable. At some point he decided to repent. He even confessed to a murder in an attempt to turn his life around and live honestly. He was moved to Vicky's facility. She preyed on his vulnerability, made unwanted advances toward him, used food as a means to control him. He felt so afraid of how it might escalate that he planned an escape. He was eventually moved out of her facility. Unfortunately this man who was already being punished for his crimes was moved back to VW's jail. The sexual advances started again. She was a senior official and nobody questioned her. There was no oversight. Nobody protecting CW or the other inmates from predatory officers, like VW. VW became increasingly obsessed with CW, she planned this for a long time, CW had no idea. He was serving his time and had a right to certain protections. Her sexual abuse and manipulation of inmates were over looked. A predatory opposite sex officer was allowed to remove him from the facility alone. She kidnapped him. Anytime he mentioned that he wanted to turn himself in she would threaten him with a gun, likely issued by the department for which she was employed. Eventually he developed Stockholm syndrome and went along with VW's delusions that he is her husband to keep himself safe. She held him captive for over a week until he was rescued. VW killed herself to avoid being punished for her crimes.

IF VW was predatory, CW would not be the only one. She has model record. His record of cruel violence is extremely long. I never going to go with your thinking. CW is a manipulator to the max. VW just now entered into the crime arena. She is dead. CW is doing what he has and will always be doing: ruining other peoples' lives.

Maybe this is true but if the victims are inmates in a lax facility then why would an inmate's word blemish an officer's record? I wouldn't discount the possibility that VW was predatory based on her only having one known instance of lying, breaking the law, endangering the public, abusing her power for sexual gain. VW ruined her own life. CW isn't innocent of his crimes but he didn't escape. He was removed from the jail by an officer. This was Vicky's doing and in the end she paid the price with her life to avoid being punished for her actions.

The truck was reported stolen in Tennesee it wasn't paid for. I don't know about the Caillac. I'm trying to find out about it. I was correct that I thought that they would steal vehicles. While on the lam I wonder how many they stole maybe it was just the truck and Vicky would gas up at the pumps. I was also under the assumption that LE would be on VW/CW's toes not far behind them and looks like that's what happened here. Its pretty cocky to be across from the police station holed up in a hotel and then abandon the stolen truck at a carwash in broad daylight. Because its a rural areal the owner of the carwash didn't think anything of the abandoned truck for a couple of hours if not a day. Because the truck wasn't reported stolen from Indiana but Tennesee LE were challenged with that until they realized the significance so that gave VW/CW time. In a way its good because they weren't alerted and stayed put. Better for the gneral public. Good they had money otherwise I'm sure this capture would have ended with many casualties and not just VW. But for me the question is what would happen when they ran out of money? It would have been deadly and the public would be in danger. At some point I think would have made a run for a third world country where he can hide and who knows what would've happened to VW. I suspect she'd be dead regardless and it would be CW who get rid of her. Its good it ended as it did before the public was fully endangered.

Anderson just did a show with two Alabama LEs. All vehicles were paid for with VWs cash to private party sellers.

He might yet get another chance to escape.. as time goes on, people forget and lose interest and he will end up somewhere where nobody knows or cares about his history. She was driving a car she had never driven before, calling 911, her finger on the trigger and she was able to get a bullet in her head while being rammed by a police car. "Poor" CW's first words out of his mouth were VW killed herself and he did not do it. CW did escape. He was at the carwash alone. He could have called LE at anytime. In fact, they were under surveillance for awhile before they were captured. Hopefully the public will hear how much big ole violent CW was being victimized. As the saying goes "It takes two". She lost her life as was predicted. How that happened, we won't know until the investigation is complete. She was very busy driving while CW was just sitting there. Compare how many people he has killed to how many VW has killed.

I am glad LE is going to be able to do forensics on the car and release more information about their movements. Another reason I believe that blaming VW is incorrect is that she has been living on the outside all of her life and was a functioning human being. CW isn't capable of living a normal life. This has been stated by some of his former cellmates, by LE and other sources. His mother sticks up for him. Smart woman. She doesn't want to be one of his victims.

Looks much better without all that hair; meaner too. His ears fit in a devilish sort of way (think satanic.) it’s easy to believe he could commit all the crimes he’s been convicted of and claimed responsibility for, and that he’s made threats against people’s lives.

Well I’m in the UK so I missed all of the new information as it happened overnight here. I don’t know why but I feel genuinely sad about VW. I feel she was manipulated by a dangerous man. JMO. I am surprised as them being in a hotel I really thought they had planned it and would be hidden in a remote property somewhere. As I say feel sad for VW and especially her elderly mother but I am glad no LE were hurt and it didn’t end in the hail of gunfire I predicted previously!

Sorry but not sorry. Even though it is likely these two orchestrated this foolishness together the blame and judgement is indeed on VW. She was in a position of power and respect and used that to endanger everyone around her by releasing a criminal.

His history doesn't eliminate her accountability. We have seen "normal" respectable men murder prostitutes and homeless women. The same can be said, "Well she has lived a life of crime he is a functioning member of society. It must have been her fault!" Let's not forget the rape victims with a history of promiscuity vs the powerful respectable person. We know how dangerous and toxic it can be to not look at the big picture. Law abiding people with no criminal records pop off and become criminals, murderers, etc quite often. Vicky was fully responsible for her own actions. We know what to expect from people like CW, we learn to be vigilant around them. People like VW are so sneaky it's scary. My opinion only, of course.

The US Marshall’s said when Casey got out of the car, the first thing he said was “my wife shot herself.”

I wonder why they were in Indiana too. The Marshall said in the Anderson Cooper interview that the intel they received was that they were planning to stay in Evansville for a period of time. Their master plan couldn’t have been driving up to Indiana and then staying in a motel 6 for weeks on end could it? It makes no sense whatsoever. I hope Casey sheds some *honest* light on all of that.

Thank you. I am not holding my breath that CW sheds some "honest" light on this. I believe the whole thing was just a ruse for CW to have some time out of jail, some fun (cars, trucks, travel, normal food, new clothes, sex, lies), manipulating (his best "asset") VW since he's talked her into screwing up her life which she did fall for, but he has years of winning over woman so he could kill them when he went into one of his rages. I think that once they were in person together which is entirely different from giving him more food while he is locked up, that she knew that she had made a mistake but it was too late. She would not like jail, but it wouldn't be for life. I read that she was looking at 10 years. I think she knew this was her last leg after being with CW for over a week by herself in person. I believe that is why she is dead. If it turns out that she did not kill herself, it will be because CW did not want anyone to know what all they did and what he did to her while she was stuck with him. I have no sympathy for this violent killer who has several murders that he has not served time for. VW made some bad choices. To end up with a guy like CW was a very bad choice. When a person chooses the evil path, it usually does not end well. I hope that she was okay before she died and did not suffer too much. We will never know. I just do not believe that she would kill herself when help was right there. Maybe he told her that they would both kill themselves and "be together after death". More manipulation. Or maybe he was telling her how her life was over since she broke him out. I mean, nothing good ever comes with CW. After 11 days with him, if it was suicide, that might have been a relief from what she endured while being with him.

(I have been with an evil person and I would not kill myself. Also, I had some very secure resources to turn to and I did not do anything illegal). After I got out, he stayed mean and evil. He died at a somewhat young age. After I left, more people suffered at his hands. EVIL. No Sympathy from me.

I was a Booking/Classification lieutenant and can say that heads will roll on whomever the booking officer was that day as well as the officer in charge of that shift when those two walked out of the jail/detention center.

They would have had to go through booking to exit into a small ante room leading to the door. A booking officer, even if it was their first day on the job, would know better than letting a lone senior (or even lesser) female officer escort an inmate of such notoriety out the door. There would always be two armed officers escorting a convicted murderer or serious offender. A female officer would never be allowed to escort a male inmate alone. Vicky White would have had to have paperwork documenting the appointment to give to the booking officer for count purposes. I've also never heard of a mental health evaluation being done at a courthouse. They probably discovered Casey White missing at count time and there being no authorizing paperwork.

Heads will certainly roll and they should. The sheriff had said they were all family there at the jail. Well, apparently Vicky White didn't think so to stick them out like that.

I have no sympathy for either of them and hope Casey White gets a death sentence if they ever get around to prosecuting him.

We aren't judging her but we observed her action and judged her actions only. Look, I was just watching a video of a man who was shot 15 times in a domestic violence incident. The guy who shot his man was angry because this man was dating his ex-girlfriend. So the shooter decided to go into his apartment and start shooting willy nilly. Those bullets could've gone anywhere including suites around but luckily people had been evacuated by this time. However, he had 15 bullet holes in his body took him months of rehab, he lost an incredible amount of blood The shooter escaped and and was in a shootout with police wher he was killed finally. You know what tops this story off is that the man who suffered this horror forgave the shooter! He said if he could he would talk to the shooter. That's how these people are amongst us because we don't realize what theya re capable of just like in VW's instance. She was self-centered to the core and didn't even care how it ended. So she ended it herself because boss lady didn't want to got to prison and be someone's girlfriend!
