Sumiton police are asking for help in locating a missing man.

24-year-old Denton Nathaniel Hill was last seen in Sumiton on February 24.

Hill is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, has brown hair and eyes, and visible tattoos on his torso and arms.

He’s so thin[emoji853] My beanpole 17 year old is 6’ 1” and 170. No release of circumstances as to where or when he went missing?!

The missing poster his family shared tagging his FB says he’s 120lbs and last seen leaving the Empire, AL area on the night of the 23rd. It isn’t a msm poster or I’d bring it over.

Last seen leaving the Empire/Sumiton area from his grandmother's home. He was said to have been picked up by Matthew Perrigan and Jon Roberts this past Friday. Also possibly last seen with or known to hang out with Amber Hill and Brittany Diffy.

A missing person report has been filed. If you have any information regaurding his where abouts, contact the Walker County Sherrifs office.

Family asking for help finding Walker County man

A Walker County family is reaching for help to locate a loved one.

"When I go to bed at night I'm going to lay in a warm bed and my son is out in a ditch," Bonnie Hill said.

Hill has no idea what happened to her 24-year-old son Denton Hill.*He lived with his grandmother on Levels Road in Empire. Denton was last seen on February 23 across the street at a wooden shed.

"He was out there hanging with friends and from what we have been told some guys picked him up and that is the last anybody has seen or heard from him," Hill said.

This search never happened, the group organizing it, pulled out citing that it was for safety reasons for the family an searchers, the missing page was taken down an tip line closed, anyone with tips were directed to call the Walker county sheriffs department with anything in this case, according to an interview one paper did the LE said they did not know what happened to cause the search to be called off! So it’s as if there is yet another brick wall! This young man deserves to be brought home and give his family closure!
