Man arrested for rape, sodomy involving juvenile

A man charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy of a juvenile in Level Plains is in custody after alluding authorities for two days, according to Dale County Sheriff Mason

Colt Bryan Lecuyer, 33, is in Dale County Jail after being arrested in Macon County Sunday.

NOTASULGA, Ala. (WRBL) – A Dothan man wanted for an alleged felony sexual assault in Dale County was tracked to east Alabama, where he was taken into custody by the Macon County Sheriff after a multi-agency manhunt.

According to criminal records, Lecuyer is a registered sex offender. In 2012, he was convicted of enticing a child for immoral purposes (attempted). WRBL is working to gather more information on the allegations Lecuyer faces in Dale County.
Dale County man arrested for sex crimes after multi-county search

Police received a call from Level Plains in which someone described seeing sexual contact between Colt Bryan Lecuyer, 33, and a child under the age of ten in the back of Lecuyer’s car.

Before Level Plains police made it to the scene, Lecuyer had left. According to the Dale County Sheriff’s Office Lecuyer is a registered sex offender and federal supervised release inmate.
