A Missing and Endangered Person Alert was issued for a Enterprise man Friday.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) and the Enterprise Police Department asked for the public's help in locating 35-year-old Stephen Alexander Cornett.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Stephen Alexander Cornett was last seen on August 1 at 5:00 p.m. on Seay Street in Enterprise. The missing person’s report was issued on Friday, August 16.

35-year-old Stephen Alexander Cornett was last seen at around 5 p.m. on August 1 in the area of Seay Street in Enterprise.

Cornett drives a blue 2011 Ford Fusion with an Alabama license plate (19A34XH). He may be living with a condition that impairs his judgment.

He is in Huntsville, AL and has been in touch with LE. ALEA is still showing him as a missing person.

But after almost a month of being missing, the family has received some very comforting news.

Rose said he has been in contact with law enforcement and now knows that her son has been spotted in Huntsville.

While this news is a huge sigh of relief, the family says they aren’t sure what drove Cornett to go to North Alabama.

State troopers reported that Cornett may be living with a condition that may impair his judgment, and his family says he has been dealing with other personal issues.

ENTERPRISE, Ala (WDHN) — An Enterprise native and beloved family man has been found in North Alabama after going missing earlier this month.

Enterprise Police say Stephen Cornett was found by authorities in Pelham, near Birmingham, on Sunday, August 25.
