ALTUS, OKLA (KOKH) — The Altus Police Department (APD) is seeking information on a missing woman.

According to APD, Elizabeth Lee has not been seen since Aug. 20.

Lee's family made a follow-up missing persons report today, Aug. 31.

Additionally, Lee had filed a protective order just before she was last seen.

Lee's husband,Jeremy Bearden, had also not been seen since Lee's initial missing person report.

Bearden has an active felony warrant for his arrest for stalking and malicious injury to property.

If you have any information on Lee or Bearden, contact APDimmediately at 580-482-4121.

Officers and Detectives with the Altus Police have been relentlessly searching for Elizabeth Lee. Family members have made a follow-up missing persons report today. Elizabeth Lee has not been seen or heard from since Tuesday, August 20th. She has not been to work, and she had just filed for a protective order. Elizabeth's husband, Jeremy Bearden, has also not been seen since approximately that time frame, and there is an active felony Jackson County warrant for his arrest for "Stalking" and "Malicious Injury to Property'".

This has shades of Nikki McClain case written all over it. She never made it to a DV Court Hearing against her husband either.
 
Jeremy Bearden has been committing domestic violence against different women for over twenty years :mad:
I truly hope Elizabeth is still alive.

I have answered my own question. It’s a violent felony where offenders must serve 85% of their sentence before release.

Out and about and seeking his next victim to control and manipulate. Career criminals don't change.

This is a nightmare outcome. I hope she's found very soon, and if something happened to her, that there is solid evidence to prove what/who.
 
I’m so sad to read about these serial abuser cases. It’s like they don’t really try to stop them until it’s too late, then they get the real punishment.
I too hope there’s enough evidence to help LE as I just don’t see this having a good outcome :(
So sad for this beautiful young woman and her loved ones
