I apologize if this question has been asked and answered but I've kept up with the threads pretty consistently and I don't recall it being brought up.
I understand MS is Jewish but I know several family's whose parents are of a different religions. The one's I know will put up a tree, give gifts, do Santa etc...
When TS was alive, did the family celebrate the holidays with a Christmas tree, gifts, Santa, etc...?

Can you shed some light on this with the Sievers? Thank you.

Creepingskills, I read your comment and actually laughed. I personally don't know if MS was a fixer around the house. Given that Teresa couldn't get him to keep the house or her business with the organization and order she preferred, my guess would be "no." As others have pointed out, look at Teresa's suitcase, her desk, her office. Teresa was neat and orderly - the way most Type A personalities are - The fact that her home was in such disarray (outside of her specific areas) says alot to me about her state of mind concerning MS and her marriage. As I have said from the beginning, I believe Teresa wanted out. Most of what I have seen via discovery has only confirmed this for me. And thank you, I am well and appreciate EVERYONE's efforts here on websleuths. It makes a difference.

You mentioned that was a "type A". Only from my own experiences, I would've been mortified when getting into that van at the airport.

People should remember that my knowledge of MS is that he is a complete control freak regarding Teresa's daughters. From what I can see, that hasn't changed. Let's also not forget that the motive for this murder, in my opinion, was greed and control. At this point, MS is well aware that whomever has custody of Teresa's daughters will control future interaction with him and will control at some level, Teresa's estate (when he is rightfully institutionalized). When MS is arrested, and I am fully confident that he will be, MS will attempt to control both Teresa's daughters and Teresa's money from a jail cell until his conviction. At the point of conviction, and I cannot wait for that day, everything will change. I pray for the arrest and conviction daily.

Teresa's family needs to file a wrongful death suit against Mark and his two cohorts and sue for custody of the girls, demanding a mental health evaluation of Mark as a condition for any future contact with the girls. I hope they have a good attorney who is advising them on all of this.

More importantly you have helped us to see the wonderful person Teresa was and keep her memory alive. What a great way to honor your friend! Too often the victim is forgotten. Although I did not know Teresa it is with great sadness that our paths have crossed and that we have these discussions. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend.

It it is incredibly sad to me that the lazy *advertiser censored* MS preyed upon her struggles for his own livelihood. I think professional help could have empowered Teresa.

Thank you for shedding more light on Teresa. Maybe I was not clear I meant she had a great listening sister as in Annie plus the empath Lenka. Sorry for the misunderstanding and I appreciate your thoughts.

I think Teresa trusted those evil and deceitful people because of a reason and that a professional therapist may have been able to help. There just were too many in her life starting with her husband. She deserved to have better people surrounding her to help her as she helped others. I also believe she was beginning to realize this and it turned into another motive for her husband to plan her murder.

Sorry, I don't have any facts to add to this. My opinion would be that the original plan was for the weekend family reunion and that the extended stay was proposed for the girls. How MS manipulated what actually occurred remains to be spelled out - but I'm sure he did.

From the interview of the young woman who worked for Dr. P, it sounded (to me) as if TS was making arrangements for life post separation from MS, or preparing for when MS couldn't be relied on to watch the girls during working hours. Basically, I'm curious as to whether TS was making a change from sometimes needing childcare sporadically, to more of a "regular" nanny, and if this possibly tipped MS off that a shift was coming...
