He was last seen wearing brown chino trousers, a black-checked shirt, a green coat and carrying a yellow rucksack.

Not feeling comfortable about this story. Moushold heath isn’t the nicest place and there have been stories I’ve read over the years of people taking their lives there and even after the heath being searched, people having not been found for months.

Really hope this has a good outcome, but living in the area and hearing someone going missing after heading towards the heath, makes me feel a bit uneasy.

I live at the edge of the heath, I drove through last night and wonders why there was a search and rescue van out there about 10pm - I thought it was training but obviously looking for this chap.

Mousehold heath is pretty big, and it’s not unknown for people to go into it for suicidal reasons. Local Facebook is saying he was on doorbell cameras on Gertrude road which is a route towards the heath. I don’t think this will pan out well unfortunately.

Another thing, my son goes to a local school (not his) and we had an unannounced inspection by OFSTED recently and then our head quit so I wonder if he’s under pressure at his school too.

Just came here to post this. So sad

This area of the country, Norfolk, seams to be having a big hit with its mental health struggles and professional people. Unfortunately last week a body was found in neighbouring Suffolk County in the search for popular doctor Dr Jayaram
There is also another well liked teacher currently missing from Norwich. Phillip Edwards. Let’s hope he can be located safe.
