Well, with any luck, now the Anthony's will get that injunction against the protestors. I know, I know, a lot of people think that they deserve this and a whole lot worse. But the point is that we have certain liberties and a certain assumption of a degree of safety. If someone can get away with this against the Anthony's because of what they think they did, then it could be me or you tomorrow. I am more concerned about the loss of civil liberties in general than I am about who lost them.

A citizen after my own heart!

Meanwhile, inside the home, Casey probably proclaimed, "Did him, did him, made out with her, wait.. is that a boy I haven't slept with? Mom, get his plates so I can have one of my law enforcement people look him up and call him later."

Just don't answer the door. The phone works from inside the house, call LE from inside.

No it was just a pic that looked like the dude pulled him, it as actually the chic in the black tank that pulled him.

Who knows but he's clearly not in passive mode and looks to be close to the house (which helps with where the confrontation was - sidewalk area vs on the property).

IMO though this 'young man' is coming off like a punk -- and FWIW I have absolutely no use for little miss KC. But this kind of stuff isn't helping anything or anyone.

in the video you can see both sides hung on their side of the *line*, the protesters on sidewalk side of driveway, G&C on property side of driveway.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. Sorry - but if someone was throwing things at my home in the middle of the night my husband would have met them with his 45 - not a bat or a hammer (and yes, he is licensed to carry and is an NRA instructor).

Whether Casey is innocent or guilty (a court of law has to decide, not any of our emotions) her family and the rest of the neighborhood should not have to put up with these protestors. I know emotions are running high here in Orlando and everywhere else, but sheesh - I never knew so much trailer trash lived in my beautiful city.

What a nightmare this case is........ on so many levels.

What happened to "COMMON SENSE"?

Banging on the door, throwing rocks at the garage door, throwing pennies at the house, shining flashlights into windows, on and on and on and on

In this day and age - who in their RIGHT MIND would open a door to an angry mob?

And this comes just hours after GA accuses the media of "paying the protesters" to be there.

My common sense screams one word - STAGED!!!

We now have FOUR different accounts of what went down. Cops were there and "watched" - cops weren't there.

There are plenty of "troublemakers" - "rabblerousers" out there - always looking for a fight or the first little thing to "take matters into their own hands" because, well, they are just angry people.

Some "angry" person is going to inject themself into this situation with a firearm and then all he77 is going to break loose.

Why would anyone come out of their house and confront anyone who is that angry? That is, unless the homeowner knows he/she aren't going to get hurt because it's all a ruse? I know I wouldn't!!!! Not on a bet. And not with a bat! But - a "scripted" setup, staged, incident that the A's knew was going to go down? Sure! I can act. Wish we knew if the house had been dark and they were all asleep - funny they got dressed rather quickly - or do they now sleep in their clothes?

Something is going to give - sooner or later.

With respect, I disagree--In 2005 Florida passed the "Stand your ground" law which allows use of force outside the home. Perhaps you lived here prior to that.

TALLAHASSEE, Florida (AP) -- Gov. Jeb Bush said Tuesday he intends to sign a
bill that would allow people who feel threatened -- even on the street or at
a baseball game -- to "meet force with force" and defend themselves without
fear of prosecution.

And it did pass. This is an article about it. http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/10-6-2005-78297.asp

Yup I left in 2005, thanks for the update....Good, it should be that way... But with that said, the man they confronted was unarmed (as far as we know, with all the updates by noon he might have had a weapon.) force with force. Not baseball bat against fist.. Im not sure on the "staged" theory, seems a bit farfetched, IMO. What I would like to know though...

Who do you contact at the media to get a paying job as a protester? Cause I wanna apply.

Ok I can not wait until NG gets a hold of this tonight. Hopefully the 911 call placed by KC over Act I of this morning's script. NG will have a field day over how easy it was for KC to call the cops over the EXTRAS outside with mommy/daddy and couldn't pick up the crappin phone and report her toddler missing for 31 DAYS!!!!! I waiting for someone to yell "CUT"!

LOL......I'm with you, this sounds like the latest 'script' to garner more sympathy for the A's, and or to get a new ruling on the protesters.

"Paid teens will show up @ 1:30 AM.......George will fend off the attack with the water hose........& Casey will finally learn to dial 911."

We have a winner! BINGO!

Seeker.. hehehehehhe.

I dunno, where i am (australia) its not that unsual for for drunken hoons to walk down the street and chuck things at garages and yards etc. It happens. Not alot but occasionally. If you just stay in your house and ignore it they usually carry on down the street singing bad '80's rock songs. HOWEVER, if you go out onto the street armed with a garden hose and start spraying - well, lets just say that you are upping the ante and had better be prepared for whatever happens next. I think the A's over reacted and should have stayed inside and called the cops. OR sent KC outside to deal with the situation. Thats what i would have done...

But then again, this is a country that was started as a penal colony and settled by convicts. 'Nuff said...

I have been watching the CAM on and off for weeks now..The Mob mentality has been there many times. I have watched very aggressive protesters who I thought would be rushing the house and never did.

I do not think this was staged..just a progression of the situation..I really feel this will only escalate and get worse. The protesters need to be moved and have a organized area to protest at near the subdivision and the A's need to get KC out of that house.

Great minds huh...

I would have thought the A's would have been grateful for the money. I mean, how often do you get people THROWING money at you?

If it was me, I would have yelled "I scoff at your lousy pennies! Throw Half Dollars! They are heavier and do more damage!"... j/k also ;)

:rotfl::rotfl:

Which ever news media report is accurate, what these protestors did at 1:00 AM or so in the morning is just plain wrong! Cindy and George should have just stayed inside the house and called 911 to remove these people from their property.

One of the Anthony's is going to get seriously hurt if they keep confronting the protestors as they don't know what these people are capable of doing. My goodness, the protestors could have easily have knocked Geroge and Cindy out or even worse and then went and got Casey.

It's time for the Anthony's attorney to sit down with the Anthony's and speak with them about dialing 911 and their safety!

I agree with you, Patty, except for one thing. These young people were not protestors... more like antagonizers. Going there at 1:30 in the morning was NOT protesting, they were there to start a fight, and that's what they got!
Yes, the A's should have stayed inside... but they have been terrorized for weeks, just because Casey is out of jail, and they choose to let her stay at home with them. That's their right. Not what we might do, granted... but it's their choice, not ours. They've been pushed to the limit by the media and the protestors, and they will not be able to take it much longer before one of them breaks and seriously hurts someone... or one of them gets hurt.
These people were on their property, they were trespassing. They should have been arrested. I look for this to be the beginning of the end of these protests, OR the police will be on hand 24/7 to oversee them. The neighbors have rights, too!
BTW.... where were the bodyguards?

*Snipped*

Like I said, had they been banging on the door, throwing rocks, shinning lights....there would have been pictures of that everywhere....it did not happen. They were probably loud and the Anthony's went out there...again.

I think you're right. I really doubt the protesters were that loud. The A's provoked so they would have a reason to call LE. IMO

There's no sense in hiring a PR firm if you are going to do things like this. The Anthonys respond to everything, everything with combativeness. I do not think that this is a recently acquired trait. I think that house has been a pressure cooker for a long time.

IMO, the "protesters" were in the wrong here. They acted like white trash, sorry. But the Anthonys take the bait quicker and more reliably than a catfish does a hook full of Limburger cheese. Someone is going to get hurt and that is not supposed to be the outcome of peaceful and lawful protesting.

Get out of my head monoxide! lol
There are three different stories to what happened, I would do what these kids did, they want answers, and if they were being threatend, they have a right to what they did, I would do the same thing. Everyone on here is here to find out happened to Caylee, and those that stand by this family are sick and twisted...JMO! I am a Parole Officer, so I see the worst of the worst, and the trust will come out in the end with this family. And seeing those that are here everyday on this website badmouthing Casey, George, Cindy, etc, and now standing up to George and Cindy tonight....shame on you, you make me sick! you were not there, and like I posted earlier, there were three stories about what happened. Pick one then make up your mind before you post comments about the protesters!
