Details of Disappearance
Clark was last seen in Fayetteville, Arkansas on September 6, 1993. He has never been heard from again. His family reported him missing in October. He left behind his last paycheck.

Around the time of his disappearance, Clark's truck was found in Crawford County, Arkansas, south of the Devil Den; it had been burned down to the fram. Authorities determined the fire was arson. His family doesn't think Clark would have burned his own vehicle, as he took great pride in it and had just had it painted and fitted for a new camper shell.

Clark was affiliated with the Outlaws motorcycle gang and associated with drug and alcohol abusers, which may have been a factor in his disappearance. He worked for Walmart laying floors and carpets, and often traveled for his job. His hobbies included camping. His disappearance remains unsolved.

<<Detective Dan Baker of the Fayetteville Police Department said. "Nothing showed that he wanted to run off, he was just kind of the average hardworking guy. He was sort of affiliated with an outlaw motorcycle group. He would spend time down there and there was drugs and alcohol abuse going on at that place. That is what led us to possibly somebody tried to do something with him." Police have looked into that possibility, but say nothing has panned out.>>

Oct. 26, 1993
Around 11:30 a.m., Delores Sharp called the Fayetteville Police Department to report her brother, John Kemp Clark, had been missing for about seven weeks. None of Clark’s family had seen or heard from him. Clark lived at 740 W. Douglas St. in Fayetteville at the time of his disappearance. Police said he was apparently last seen Sept. 22, 1993.
He worked as a carpet and tile layer. He didn’t tell anyone he was leaving, nor did he take any of his belongings, including his work tools. Clark also never picked up his last paycheck. Foul play is suspected in his disappearance.
Clark would now be 47 years old. He’s described as white, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing about 110 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
