<<Nicholson was last seen walking near his home on March 6. Detectives said Nicholson’s family described him as an avid walker and mentally sharp. He does suffer from Bell’s palsy, a form of facial paralysis.

Nicholson had been sighted walking as far north as a grocery store on Roosevelt Road in east Little Rock, Rehrauer said. Earlier this week, deputies used dogs to track Nicholson to an area near Interstate 30 and Roosevelt Road, where the dogs lost the scent trail.

On Thursday, 10 members of Arkansas Explorer search and rescue Post 393 joined about a dozen sheriff’s deputies and Game and Fish Commission agents on four-wheelers to search a stretch along the highway north of Nicholson’s home on Williams Road.>>

<<Nicholson, who was last seen wearing a gray hat, dark shirt and pants and a burgundy coat, has not been seen since about 1 p.m. March 6, deputies said. Investigators spoke with Nicholson’s daughter, who said her father was known to walk long distances.

Investigators searched Nicholson’s home and found nothing to indicate any crime had been committed, Rehrauer said.>>
