Area Body Found in "Too Strange" Was it Searched?

There are a few things that don't make sense to me.

She would have had to plan this in some way if the body has really been in that one spot so long, it would have floated at certain points during decomp....it wouldn't have just stayed on the ground UNDER the water without something to weigh it down.

If it was weighed down, that would mean some amount of pre planning, and if pre planning was involved, this definitely isn't a very smart spot.

Even if it was weighed down, some would have floated.....which would lead one to think that a black garbage bag would tear, and after all these months most of the contents would be scattered all over.

I am sure the facts will come out that will make it make sense, but right now with what is known a lot doesn't fit for me.

I'm also thinking about the bag 'floating' in flood waters..Paver(s) could have been used to weigh it down but was it enough to keep it down?

I'm also thinking it may have been behind the fence at some point in time & then floated to where it was eventually found..That could've been as far back as early Nov. (5 weeks ago) when the search was last conducted..But the water would've had to be down enough for it to sink to the bottom & leave that indentation..But none of this is possible IF that fence went all around the property vs just along the street front..That's what we need to know for sure but how?

yeah funny she wasn't too worried when LP's search possibly found something
obviously she knew where it was

That says it all.

As far as an accomplice goes, if Casey had help they would have been PARANOID and hidden Caylee better. Only Casey would go to so little effort. And only she would be so confident Cindy could be kept at bay and nobody probably EVER would know Caylee was even gone.

They would take anything that might provide any type of evidence. How often does anyone change cleaner bags in their vacuum, maybe once a year? A vacuum could have picked up Caylee's hair with a death band around it, if she had been laid on the floor. It could have picked up traces of soil that would match where Caylee was found, off someone's shoes.

Oh man, once a year?! I wish. I'm not disagreeing with you, I just know that in my house, of course I have four dogs, we empty ours after each use. Not sure how this would apply, but do we know what kind of vacuum? Mine doesn't have a bag but a canister that you just dump out. But it does have a filter that is only supposed to be changed once a year. That could hold alot of evidence, IMO.

Looking at Live shot now with Geraldo and the fence looks like it has been there for a while.

Maybe there was water there already when she tossed the bag in that spot......maybe she did not think about it draining way or maybe she thought with the rainy season the gators would get her etc. KC is a strange evil person so who knows what she actually thought. She just knew she had to get rid of her and that was the closest spot at the time.

Alot of us give KC way too much credit for being a smart and methodical person. Evil, smart and methodical is Drew Peterson who so far has killed two wives and hasn't even been indicted in one murder. She should have called him and asked him "How did you do it". She is sloppy, lazy and a faux intelligent wanna be. She claims that CSI is her favorite show yet she left duct tape on Caylee for her fingerprints to be found. She may be lucky but her luck has run out. The way that she disposed of Caylee was so that it may be found right away but she never thought that she would have been charged for murder. Once she was charged she thought she was unbelievably lucky that the baby's body was never found. I think her original plan was to wait 30 more days after and then blame in on the nanny once the body was found. This is why she told the cops that she had to read the script for 30 days. Then she probably would have stumbled on Caylee's remains herself when she went out for a walk or something.

Quite honestly, I'm not so sure in my own mind that KC is responsible for Caylee's death. I would say I'm 98% convinced that she is, but...consider this.

1. Cindy is the last known person to be physically with Caylee. Yes, yes, I know George says he saw KC and Caylee leave the house on the 16th of June but do we know for sure that he did? NO!
2. Cindy has proven herself to be very unstable through her actions throughout this whole ordeal and we know from sworn statements that she became physically aggressive with KC, grabbing her by the throat on the June 15th.
3. KC is reportedly a mess emotionally in prison.
4. Cindy is living it up at the Ritz and eating $100.00 dinners at fancy restaurant's.
5. Cindy was Caylee's primary caregiver and aren't most murdered children killed by their primary caregivers?
I think there is definite potential here for
1. KC really did not commit the murder
2. KC to get the ultimate revenge on Cindy by throwing her under the bus.

Fire away but remember I'm just the messenger.

I am going to disagree with you 100% on Cindy killing her precious granddaughter!

I have watched all of the jail house videos of visits. There are several times when CA asks Casey about Caylee's welfare but one in particular stands out. It was actually aired last night on GVS also. In any case Cindy is asking Casey "that lady, the nanny she won't hurt our Caylee Casey will she?" Cindy's voice is completely crackling, choked up, and she's about to lose it. She doesn't really get a very good response from Casey naturally. The pain in her face is so ver real and raw.

My point is that although Cindy (and George) has behaved irrationally and done some mighty ridiculous things this is a grandma who is grieving for the loss of her baby gd! At the same time her entire family life and world is crumbling around her. Cindy would never, ever have hurt that baby for anything! We've not seen any real emotion from Casey in regards to her so called loss of Caylee.

Caylee was last seen with her mother. Caylee was definitely killed by the hands of Casey of that I am sure. This "nanny" defense will come back and bite Casey right in her A$$ of this I am also sure, just as I am positive that no sane jury will by into the theory or story.

I truly don't think the area is strange. I have felt all along that she was closer to home and knew for certain she wasn't at Jay Blanchard park! Casey has repeatedly made the comments about Caylee "she's close" etc. IMO Casey committed pre-meditated murder and has been researching and planning for a very long time. I also believe she planned for this whole defense. I truly believe in my heart it was originally to also include CA and GA but something ruined the plan for her somehow.

I trust Tim Miller. Not very long ago we had something very similar with a missing child here that was missed during a search and we don't have flooding!!!

Yes, as I said, unnamed sources. Not an official statement. That we imagine it to be so is fine and very well may be, but it also may not. Jose making any comment as he has would tend to support the idea, but we do not have the info as FACT.

Thanks for pointing this out. The day Caylee was found, unnamed sources from the jail said when JB broke the news to KC she got a destressed look on her face then looked ill. Nothing was said about her falling to her knees and asking for a sedative until JB said it. I would be more apt to believe unnamed jail sources than JB.

In LP's search JB did not tell her they found a body/skeleton. This time he did. THAT could make all the difference.

I'm not defending Casey, I believe she is fully capable of killing her daughter. I'm just not certain she did, and if she did, I'm not certain she didn't have an accomplice or two or three or. . .

My opinion only.

This may have been already asked (sorry!) but who has 4 vacuum cleaners??

I've always subscribed to the idea that dogs cannot smell underwater, that something would have had to have been protruding from the water to pick up the scent. Is this a myth or fact, anyone know?

From what I understand, a decomposing body under water emits certain types of gases. The gases float to the top and into the air. Dogs are trained to smell those gases.

I agree with you as well Elfie, I think we are all just banging our heads against the wall. Until we hear concrete facts about this whole thing we can theorize all we want. I think we all just want answers, and especially the big WHY? to be answered.

really--

whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? :(

snipped

Who would/could hang out in such a place?..Even picnic there like her best school friend said they often did..I know kids do some far out things but this doesn't add up even before adding in the fact it gets swampy during the rainy season..All of this=why I do NOT believe where the body/bag was found is the same spot.

I do believe she just threw the bag in & in the dark because even though it looks like the last house is a bit away from the end of the road nobody, not even KA, is dumb enough to think she may not be seen.

The day Tony picked her up I think she was there to check on the bag or possibly move it but that goes against doing it when she could be easily seen so I really need to rule that out.

My most MAIN nagging thoughts are...

1. How much water was there & when..If it was just a few feet when the bag was thrown in that would have sunk to the bottom but what about when it was as deep as when Tim was there?..We know there was enough to sink an ATV so why wasn't the bag floating near the surface?..There couldn't have been that much weight in the bag especially with her decomposing already for a few months..Unless it also contained a paver (from the house) but why bother just to dump her there?..Unless the first plan was to dump her in the Econ or some other deep waters..

2..What about this fence we've heard so much about?..There definitely wasn't a fence right at the discovery spot because we could clearly see them collecting evidence under (& all around) the tent they set up..I saw no fence at all there & I'm also sure the man who found her didn't bother to climb up & over just to tinkle.

But I did see a fence a short distance away.

That had to be put up sometime between early Sept & Nov..If the bag was actually behind the fence at that time or very close by why didn't the workers notice the bag?..Maybe they did see it & chose to leave it..Maybe it was under just enough water to cover it..If it was very flooded, again, why wasn't it floating on the surface?..If the workers haven't been interviewed yet they should be.

3..How odd/convenient/lucky/fate? the A's weren't home or even in FL when the discovery was made..If they weren't in CA my guess is they would've rushed to the scene..Not so much because I believe they knew she was there all along but like the rest of us they knew it was sure to be her..I'm relieved I didn't have to witness their reaction..OTH!..I wish I could've seen KC's..I think at some time we will see (or hear) a delayed version..How can these GPs not visit/contact KC now?..Even if it's to 'supposedly' comfort her..And her brother too who for some strange reason didn't even bother to go the scene when he was so "close" to it.

Those are very good questions, but the last one is VERY good: Why DIDN'T Cindy and George go to see KC when they found out? I mean, gosh, if they believe she didn't do anything to Caylee, I would think they would know she needed comfort, support ... and to be with them.

And Lee, why didn't he go either? And yes, why wasn't he at the scene?
Man, if it were my niece, I'd be there!

Hubby and I were talking about the vacuum cleaners being seized and why so quickly? He came up with something - could the body have been in yet another bag under the black garbage bag - one of those storage bags that you vacuum the air out of to shrink it down? I use those and they have the blue hole where you put the hose in to suck the air out. Just another thought......

Hmmmm..... Darn good thought! Never thought of that.

This may have been already asked (sorry!) but who has 4 vacuum cleaners??

LOL - I hate to say it, but I do! I have bad allergies and have also always had pets that shed. I try different vacuums, but rarely seem to throw the old ones out because they still work! (Can you say "pack rat"? LOL) I have one upright, one canister, a small Oreck and a "stick" Oreck. I also have a dustbuster. I don't use them all each time of course. I just bought a steam carpet cleaner too!

I so agree with you.

I also believe that Casey acted on her own and there was no accomplice. Of course unless we want to consider the behavior of the A's after the fact. Which is really obstruction IMO! No I think this has been Casey's party plan for a very long time and I also believe the state is gonna work overtime and prove it!!!!

I think Casey dumped the bag the with intentions of moving it at a later date to bury it but then it rained & flooded the area & she was unable to reach it.
