'The trial of Danny Jack Deacon has seen a video of a detective recreating the day the crown says Deacon told police where he buried Darwin woman Carlie Sinclair.
The video was made on December 19, 2014, the day Deacon was arrested for murder, and 18 months after the crown alleges he killed his de-facto partner of 10 years.
In the video, the detective says that earlier that morning Deacon took detectives to the property on Mulgara Road near Berry Springs and pointed out several possible locations where he buried Ms Sinclair.'
'The officer said Mr Deacon was unsure exactly where he allegedly buried the body on the block of land.'
'

The jury was also played an audio recording of Deacon being arrested shortly after he appears to show officers where Ms Sinclair's remains could be found.'
'In court on Wednesday, Detective O'Neill told the jury human remains were found at the site on December 23, and they were identified as Ms Sinclair on December 24.'
'The jury is also being shown an electronic record of an interview police did with Deacon on December 22 and 23 in 2014.
In that video, Deacon says Ms Sinclair walked off after an argument at the yard he used for his concreting business in Parap on the night the crown alleges the murder happened.
Deacon says he followed Ms Sinclair to the yard because he believed she was meeting with someone.
He said he came to that conclusion after an earlier incident in the early hours of June 18, 2013, when he heard Ms Sinclair come home drunk and take a shower.
He said he heard similar noises from the shower that he had previously heard Ms Sinclair make after he and her had engaged in sex.'
'On the night Ms Sinclair disappeared, Deacon said the two had been getting along well before an argument.'
'But he said Ms Sinclair then started "nitpicking" at him, before threatening him with a star picket.
Deacon said he offered to go for a walk and leave Ms Sinclair alone.'
'The official police interview shown to the jury lasted for more than three hours.
In it, Deacon said he returned to Darwin to track down an excavator that had gone missing.
He told detectives that he had found a "mud map" of where he could find the excavator near on his car windscreen in Perth, with no explanation given as to who had left it there.
He said he followed the map, which showed his excavator was near Berry Springs in Darwin's rural area.
Deacon told the interviewers he was expecting to attract police attention when he returned to Darwin.'
'But Deacon added he did not expect to be arrested.
The record of interview will continue to be shown to the jury as the trial continues.'
