Debra CAMPBELL was last seen in the vicinity of her house in High Street Windsor late in the afternoon of 25 February 1984 having just been dropped off by her partner.
Debra was wearing a pair of blue jeans, Adidas runners and a pink t-shirt with a “Madness” band logo.
Debra has not been seen or heard from since, and has not made contact with friends or family.
An inquest held in 1999 found that it was likely Debra was deceased, and that the circumstances surrounding her death could not be determined.
Police are seeking any information which may assist with the investigation into Debra’s disappearance.

"On Tuesday, 28 March, Missing Persons Squad investigators along with detectives from the New South Wales Police Cold Case Homicide Squad executed a search warrant at a residential address in Leanda Place, Cardiff South in NSW," a police spokesperson said.

"A 65-year-old Cardiff South man was subsequently spoken to by police and the investigation remains ongoing."

"Debra's disappearance had immeasurable impact on our family and we continue to feel this to this day," her mother Jean said in the statement.

"The most awful part is not knowing where she is or what happened to her, and that the person responsible for taking my daughter away has not been held accountable.
"I'm desperately hopeful that the re-investigation of my daughters' case may bring us answers after all these years.

"I love her and still miss her so dearly."

'Prosecutors have dropped a cold case murder charge against a man who had been accused of killing his 21-year-old fiancee 40 years ago.
Peter Wetzler was charged last year with killing Debra Campbell in early 1984.
His lawyer argued the case against him was weak, and today the office of public prosecutions agreed, dropping the murder charge levelled at him.'

"There was a great weight off my shoulders. It's all still sinking in," Wetzler told 9News.
"I knew he was innocent," Wetzler's wife Sandy said.
"So to see this happen to him was so unfair."

He's now fighting for Victoria Police to pay his costs.''
