She said the woman was concerned about the child because she had not seen them and asked Ms Ingram for a ladder.
"And I said, well if you really are concerned, just call the police and they'll be here quick smart

a 36 year old female has been arrested per that 9News link. And nothing about the mum being in hospital appears in that article at this point. So so sad...

BBM & from the same article:

Detectives formally charged the mother at a medical facility in the Blue Mountains.
The woman has been there since a road accident on Sunday.

This is hard to understand. The mother, who has been charged with murder of her little girl, had been in the Blue Mountains facility since Sunday yet the murder could of been carried out as late as 12.30pm yesterday?

I would imagine because around 12-30 yesterday was when she was found in the house deceased :(

I guess so, WWGY :(

Relevant paragraphs:

'Police are still investigating how the little girl died.

An autopsy will reveal if the child drowned.'

Time of death would be 'yet to be determined'. Would be subject to police investigation and forensic pathology examination which are both yet to be completed.

She killed the little girl at home and then drove off, crashing her car and got put into hospital.

Also - obviously identities are suppressed but this article has blurred pictures - why would they blur out her jewelery?

Could be a photo locket or name necklace. Something that would identify her or her deceased daughter.

Sydney mother found reading Bible next to crashed car after allegedly drowning child

When officers found her she was sitting on the road, next to her crumpled car, dazed and reading the Bible, it will be alleged.

And from the same SMH article:

Fairfax Media understands two children were removed from the mother's care a few years ago.
