the terrible dilemma murderers of wives with insurance and super and all that stuff where they , the murdering husband , is the beneficiary, is, in a nutshell, how to hide the body, to evade police suspicion, yet have the body found so that the monies can be claimed instead of waiting the 7 years thing for missing persons business to take it's long and arduous course.

It is something murderers must mull over day and night.. .. how to make murder effective, and efficient, where the end goal is met with the least kerfuffle.. ..does one leave the body sort of exposed to attract a strangers curiosity? or does one make it disappear for ever and ever .. ( Paul Wilkinson has hidden Kylie Laboucherie 's body so well, it's never been found , yet he is a lifer for her murder) ... .

this must have been on the murderers mind on that drive up to Macedon... . (such connotations for these Macedonian Brothers, too... like driving Karen to her rightful place.. ) should it be six feet under or just covered with logs?...

Laying inside the house, then inside the boot, possibly at a third location then moved to the logs.

The reason why I asked about the iPad, would be interested to know where on the timeline that fits. Whether it was before or after Karen was reported missing.
Just thinking about the pings, the phone being off, the hours BR is unaccountable for, what time the CCTV footage of the car has been captured, When Sarah states she saw her mother last...

Edit: was the minutes that BR said he can't account for the same time the car on CCTV was captured?

I think the timing of the pings is vital evidence and may not be released until the case goes to trial.

Police had seized Karen's Merc and conducted a staged re-enactment with "her car" on Monday when police were seen driving "her car" from the Avondale Heights home reportedly in the direction of Mt Macedon where her body was found...

During the staged police re-enactment, a police car followed the Merc as it headed back to the Avondale Heights home before being placed onto a tow truck...

A witness working in the area snapped a pic of the Merc on a tow truck and later told 3AW that the car was escorted by an unmarked police station wagon with flashing lights...MOO

I've always thought the burnt out restaurant was a place of signifance. If we are to believe the witnesses that saw Borce and Vasko at the grave site and Borce on another occasion then it makes sense that her body was moved. Otherwise some of her personal belongings may have been left there for a period of time .
Whatever it was there was something at the burnt out restaurant b/c cops walked away with brown bags filled with something .

If we are to believe the witnesses that saw Borce and Vasko at the grave site and Borce on another occasion then it makes sense that her body was moved. Otherwise some of her personal belongings may have been left there for a period of time .

I doubt it was her phone that was left there, at the time, as it pinged further up the road at Gisborne.
