Hi everyone,

Here is the information I have been given by locals currently searching the area.

House: The house yes in fact does directly back onto the bushland.
I am told by a local that the search area at present was 1.5km radius from the house. (hopefully this will expand today)
No, the parents will not speak to the press.
The sister is in fact 5 years of age.

thank you so much for the information from locals epic. With William's sister being 5 yrs old it does seem like he has wondered off otherwise she would have noticed a strange person or car near them. jmo

Ch9 TV news just now this morning …

Special cameras were brought in to check drains, drain pipes, sewer pipes.
Specialist officers going to scene today …. riot squad among them, didn’t catch the rest.
No specific info that William has been snatched, but puzzling that they have been able to find no footprints, shoes, torn bits of clothing.

I will update this as much as I can for everyone.

Something very important I need to mention is that google maps is not showing the houses location correctly.
It is constantly appearing to display right in the middle of the street but it isnt the case. This is leading people to believe he may have been seen wandering past their houses
but the side of the house backs on to direct bushland.
I am told the house is at the end of the street
The house is right up against the bushland.

Okay I really don't like saying this. Are there any predatory animals around the area?

Feel really sad for the 5-year old sister ... old enough to know what is going on, not being able to give any further info ... I am sure that the family is cushioning her from her own thoughts and wrapping her in love, but I can only imagine what she is feeling with her brother lost, her family devastated.

How sad, can't believe he hasnt been found yet it is now the 4th day, hopefully today is the day he is found safe and well.

Google Earth satellite image is okay (the one I have posted here is from just last year) ... looks like the house is on the corner of two streets, as shown in the below MSM pic, but there are no houses behind it/next to it, as shown in Google sat image - so is considered 'at the end of the street' - and it does back onto bushland, nothing between it and the bush.

Two buildings across the street, before the forest, are set very far back from the road.

If you zoom into that house shown on msm is that showing as 48? (do you see this as 48?)
They could be wrong or I suppose they could set up tents next door.
If it is the case of it being the house next door, that one heavily backs onto bushland in all directions.

I will ask a few more locals about this.

The thing that is sticking in my mind - the dogs couldn't find a trace of his scent. I think someone may have been hanging around, not saying he was taken from the yard but he could have been lured away. This is absolutely bizarre. I know police aren't ruling out the possibility of abduction but I hope they've already extended their "1.5km radius" search area.

Okay, this is a Google Earth shot of #48. I think there may be the roof of a house showing (whitish) to the left of the red dot. If that is the house, it is on a corner, and very heavily surrounded by bush.

I'll try to get a better angle.

Yep, you are right ... it is the whitish roof in my last post .. here is a zoomed in street view of that house (though Google is calling it #27 :sigh. So the corner is not ½ way down the street, the corner is before the road curves off toward the forest trail.

Though there is one more house before the forest trail .. behind the trees. But no-one may have been home there at that time of the morning, or was not looking out of their window/in their garden if they were home.

Thats why when I saw the house as 48 .. i was like hmmm... well, 50 is right next to it and its dark brown

1.5km does not seem far to me.
Even many of the locals are like "why?"
I know 2x people who are out there on foot searching hopefully I will have updates soon
It is a shame MSM have not covered this like they have in the past with other missing children.
I am shocked that there are other stories on msm ahead of this.
I so agree with you about the dogs not picking up the scent. THAT is bizarre

I guess it doesn't really matter, anyway. Both houses are on the doorstep of the forest. And little William is still missing.
