Maybe I'm being overly confident (with the small amount of information/facts we outside the investigation know), but it truly sounds to me the police have the right perpetrators in their grasp.
I'm guessing it's now just a waiting game of collecting enough evidence for convictions and proving who did what. And, of course, perhaps playing their cards right so they can be led to the location of William and possible other children.
I hope it's the above, and not that they have actually hit a brick wall in their investigation. The idea of which frightens me, of-course. Especially after reading about a defeated Jubelin in this article today, in regards to a different case.

I do have a feeling we are currently experiencing the calm before the storm in regards to William, and that the conclusion of this nightmare will be powerful and soon. I look forward to justice being swift and severe.
