"State police are waiting for fingerprint results to help them identify a woman found alongside I-40.

The woman was found between Laguna and the Route 66 Casino on Saturday evening.

Police say she has been unable to communicate with them about who she is or how she ended up there."

Hmmm! Great eye! I'm going to try and look up accident patterns in tires vs. manual deflation OR knifing tires.

Im thinking that if her tires would have been slashed, she would have noticed as soon as she started driving in the parking lot.

So just a bad blow out! How do the sidewalls look? That Is a telltale sign if a car has been driven on a flat...

I agree. If they were slashed there's not really much chance that she got very far at all, the car would have been very difficult to drive. I also think she would have noticed as soon as she drove out of the parking lot, so no doubt she would have stopped while still at home to check that her car was alright.

I definitely think they popped when she mounted the curb. If she were travelling as fast as it is implied she was, that would have been quite a shock to the tyre, and likely would have popped it with some force.

Just my own uneducated opinion. My partner manages a mechanics shop, I'll ask him when I get home from work, see if he is able to clarify this for me a little more. :twocents:

Very intriguing. When I saw you post this I thought the woman had been found deceased, but after reading I see she is alive, she just has no memory of who she is/how she got there. Whether Adrienne or not, there is a family out there who will have their loved one brought home to them very soon (but fingers crossed it is Adrienne).

The area where the woman was found ^^^^ is either on or near the Laguna Pueblo Reservation. I won't be surprised if that is where she came from. Sadly she would not be the first woman (or man) to be found wandering the interstate from one of the pueblos here in NM. There are serious drug and alcohol issues on the reservations and most times, the people are walking in traffic and hit by cars. JMO

And public, please ask your partner about the tires. If you show him the actual picture of the tires I will send you all my nephews Halloween candy this coming year... Or buy some and give it to you like a normal human being. Lol

Great find, 2Hip. I'll echo sentiments shared here - it would be a dream. come. true. if it were Adrienne. If it is not, this woman is alive and will be reunited with her family which is a HUGE blessing. <3

The young girl jumped from a moving vehicle on the highway (they think a semi) and has severe injuries. She is very young and matches the description in many ways but her injuries are so severe that they can't even tell if she has a scar on her back. The officers are going to look to see if she has a tribal sun tattoo and also will look at the photos of her in all the news reports.

She is unconscious at this time. They think she was trying to escape from someone when she jumped.

That's all I know for now.

No. I spoke with the state police. A Sgt. Williamson. He has been with her the last two days. I don't know if it is Adrienne or not. He said he didn't see a tattoo on her neck but they are going to look again.

Now that the police there are looking at Adrienne Salinas as a possibility they will see the picture of the tattoo. If it is her they will know I think.

I am very torn on this.........
