Sorry if I made your BP rise. I thought some here might be interested in what was being said on Nancy. Personally, I like to hear Marc Klaas' take on these cases.

Oh, you misunderstood me. No one here has ever made my blood pressure rise. :)

Far from it. I just get upset when Nancy and her producer puts out things we know are false because most of us have already read the facts known and have kept up with the PCs.

Just like the other night when she promoted the tiny windows as belonging to Isa's bedroom. All of us here had already seen the actual standard size window.

Thats all I meant.

imo

Is it known who actually made the 911 call that Saturday morning ? Who actually decides whether or not the 911 call is released and made public ? TIA to anyone who might know...

Can't talk about about it here because it hasn't been released. You can find some info about it in the parking lot though.

this latest updated article on the three little girls does not say that the perp was known to them (they have also released a sketch)

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, three girls aged 6, 8 and 10 were in a bedroom when a man they did not know entered the home at approximately 2 a.m. and "committed acts of sexual assault."

The suspect is described as a Caucasian in his 20s. He was last seen wearing dark shorts, a green sleeveless shirt and dark colored glasses. Detectives created a composite with the aid of one of the victims.

Richard Kastigar of the Pima County Sheriff's Department said the home is owned by the girls' grandparents. The girls and their mother are visiting from another state, Kastigar said.

Kastigar said all three girls were victimized, though it is unknown to what extent each was victimized.

Oh, okay, gotcha! I purposely left out tonight's discussion on NG about Isa sleeping with her brothers. No one could confirm that information and they finally pretty much admitted that on NG.

Quick list of questions then I am off to check homework and tuck little ones in..
1. Has LE said anything about waiting for results on forensics of any type, or having collected evidence? I hear that in cases a lot, not details but general statements like that. Was there a total lack of prints? (gloved intruders not likely to wipe down and erase previous prints, set ups are)
2. I don't even know what else to ask, there is such limited public info, and I feel it is not because they don't want to jeopardize the investigation, I feel it is because they have no clue.

tpd says they are making progress on the case

The Tucson Police Department says it is making progress in the search for missing 6-year-old Isabel Celis.

The search for Isabel is now on day ten and officials with the Tucson Police Department say leads have been slowing down over the past couple of days.

Despite the time that has passed and the leads lessening, the TPD says progress is being made in the case.

Some "reporter" really wants us to think there are cocaine orgy parties every night at every third house across America..

I think she is implying that they were all partying and didn't know what was going on in their own home. But, I do know of a case here in Dallas where there was a party actually a reunion with guests from out of town and a little girl was raped and murdered. It turned out to be one of the people at the party. Also wasn't there a little girl who was at a party with her family and one of the guest boyfriend raped her and then set her on fire. These cases get more bizzare all the time. However, I do not think the parents are in any way involved, but that does not rule out friends or relatives. jmo

Personally, I think Natisha gets half information and runs with it and Nancy embellishes it.

I dont know if they had a party. I doubt it. The neighbor next door said when she saw the family it was usually just them.

But a lot of times the Coach or his wife will bring pizza for the ball players or they will buy them hamburgers or hot dogs. That could be called a little party, I guess.

The police can ask the Judge not to release the 911 call at this time due to the ongoing investigation. That happens quite frequently. Eventually the press will get it released.

The father made the 911 call at 8:13 or 8:14 am iirc.

imo

OBE, TY very much...where is the info that Sergio made the call ? TIA

They're investigating, they're just not sharing, and good for them! They're trying to keep things non-adversarial with the parents, who no doubt have lawyered up. It's a game and they're at an impasse with the family but just not saying so. These parents don't want to help find Isabel IMO. So let them play their game, and I hope if they are at all responsible (and I think they are and that someone has an expensive habit), I hope they are duly prosecuted. And on that note, I can't stand to watch this turn cold. It's just another big fat Lisa Irwin type case. Bless the sons, they will suffer. As for Isabel, I fear it's way too late for her. I hope she's not out there afraid and betrayed by her parent(s).

P.S. I hope to be wrong about it all.

I havent heard one word about them lawyering up and if that was the case since the media both national and local are all over this case I think that would have come to light.

In fact, I think they are both innocent, but with how the world works today, I think they should hire an attorney. If they had hired an attorney then the attorney usually becomes the spokesperson for the family.

I dont think they have hired one though.

And one last comment from me this evening... If a child of mine were to go missing the first calls I would make would be to 911 and to family, friends etc. the next set of calls I would make would be to a defense attorney. I wouldn't hesitate. Good, honest, innocent people need defense attorneys as much, if not more than, guilty people.

Me too exactly in that order and I wouldnt be ashamed of it either.

Does anyone know if random people were allowed to walk around in that parking lot Saturday night?

.

But we are not talking about what is prudent to do in such a case, to avoid being falsely accused and wrongfully convicted. We are talking about the typical behavior of innocent parents in the days right after their child has gone missing. And innocent parents are not thinking about Kevin Fox. They are thinking about their child and are desperate to do whatever it takes to get them back.

Innocent parents are not thinking, "Gee, now my darling child has disappeared but before I rush to do whatever the police - you know those people who are there to help others, to solve crime, who are supposed to protect and serve - ask of me, before I answer their questions, I better stop and think because yeah, I suddenly recall that one case, that Kevin Fox case. That could happen to me."

No. Innocent parents are not thinking about what could happen to themselves. They are thinking about what could be happening to their kids. I'm basing this on having studied countless of these cases over the years and examining how people in general react to crisis. I would be highly suspicious of anyone whose thoughts, in the first days, go right to attorneys, rather than to assisting LE in finding their child.

Forgive me for snipping unrelated parts of your post.

John Douglas, the FBI profiler said, in his defense of the Ramsey's, parents of a certain economic and/or educational level are much more likely to retain counsel in child abduction cases, and gives it little or no weight in determining guilt or innocence.

As MCK said in an earlier post, I would retain a defense attorney to help me convince LE that I am not the guilty party ASAP so that they could focus on the real task at hand and get the case solved faster. I also have a very healthy skepticism about LE and feel it would be in my child's best interest to have better qualified "eyes" trained on them than mine would be in that circumstance. Since I feel this way, you should realize that it is a realistic possibility that parents of missing do in fact retain attorneys, early in the case, and it has nothing whatsoever with "not wanting to do everything to find the child". I think it has everything to do with it, knowing I am not the guilty party, and too many times, LE is satisfied trying to build a case that will stick, and not neccessarily the case that is the actual right one. IMHO.
