If the dude hides a pencil in a body cavity, I don't think it matters whether or not he qualifies to have a pencil! Also, I understand it was one juror that didn't get it-- and why he's being retried.

I can't wait for this guy to drop from the Court system for good. MOO

If he actually did that. Dunno, it’s likely a moot point really…does not matter if he did or didn’t, it has nothing to do with the case.

Not sure how one juror didn’t get it at all….allllllll the evidence is right there staring at them. Her poor family.

Plead not guilty. $2M cash only bond. DA will not seek DP.
Murder trial for Isabel began on with jury selection on 2/9/23 & a jury was selected. Jury: 9 men & 6 women. Only 12 will actively participate in the trial (other 3 will be alternates). Pima County Superior Court Judge James Marner presiding.
Trial began on Tuesday, 2/14/23 thru 3/3/23. Jury deliberations for a total: ~7 hours. Jury could not come up with a verdict & Judge James Marner declares a mistrial. 11 voted for conviction, one for acquittal.
Trial was set to begin on 9/12/23 continued on 2/6/24.

The judge set 11/20/23 as the date for what is expected to be a two-day jury trial. The judge ruled that if either party wants an evidentiary hearing, that motion must be filed by 10/20/23. Next motions (Omnibus) hearing on 10/2/23 @ 2:30pm.
