Here is a link from Fox10 out of Phoenix with some additional information, but not much.

This video from Jan 10 is with her husband and daughter.

Her husband says that she was drinking the day before she left. The next morning they noticed that she had taken a couple of changes of clothes, her credit card and passport. He says that she was depressed and wanted to get professional help. He says that she called their daughter shortly after she left and said that she was in rehab, but they haven't been able to track her down. The police consider her disappearance suspicious. Police have checked her financial records and have found no leads.

Watching this video gives me an uneasy feeling.

White female found 12/22/22 about 20 miles away in El Mirage AZ. UID estimated at 5’7” tall, same as Joann. Hair color listed as brown (not blonde).

These unidentified remains were found behind a remote desert area at a local golf course.

Is it possible that she really is in a rehab program? Probably not as there are no financial transactions *sigh*.
I didn't get any sort of vibe from watching the video of the husband but who waits so long to report their loved one missing?

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office posted info about Dudek's disappearance on Dec 28... and it would seem reasonable to think LE would have been reviewing any reports of human remains found in the state for a possible match but ya' never know.

The video at link below, is an interview with a friend who has known JoAnn for 15 years-
  • Sheriff considers her disappearance suspicious.
  • LE says they are getting "SOME" cooperation from the family.
  • JoAnn's friends are beginning to fear the worst, this friend M is speaking up for her - "she needs to be found".
  • JoAnn's daughter (spoke in another interview) has special needs.
  • Friend says no effort has been made to find JoAnn. So she started her own search - printed up flyers and put them out in town.
  • "No one deserves to disappear and have no one look for them, that's inhumane".
  • It wasn't specifically stated, but I think M called MCSO and reported JoAnn missing. Then LE did a welfare check at the house and spoke to husband & daughter. MOO~

I believe this is her Linkedin account

ETA: I think she also has a Twitter account with her last tweet being posted in August.
I saw that earlier today and almost linked it, glad you did! She was accomplished, has her masters, volunteer groups etc. She was in a real estate investment group which sounded a bit like an infomercial but wonder if she was a woman of means and that had anything to do with her disappearance.
Her appearance has changed quite a bit - no judgement. Moo

ETA
On her facebook she seemed articulate and invested in her friends and family. Where could she be?
