And of course it will be easier for all her kids to visitShe wants to go back to Idaho ASAP. Prisons might be nicer there than in Arizona.
I don’t understand how LVD’s attorneys can ask for a delay if she is asserting her right to a speedy trial and has indicated to them that she doesn’t want the delay. I get that they want and even need make the request as they have a duty to defend their client to the best of their abilities and cannot do that without more time. But I can’t really see how the request can be approved if the client is asserting the right to a speedy trial. It is my understanding that the only cure for a violation of the right to a speedy trial is that the conviction is overturned. If I’m right about that then the only other question I have at the moment is what determines how long is too long to be considered a speedy trial? Is there a set amount of time from arraignment or something? Would a 6 month delay violate her right to a speedy trial? Is the length of time for a speedy trial arbitrary?
Can anyone help me understand the right to a speedy trial better?
TIA
Completely agree!Charles was her crowning glory moment.
The glee, she was giddy talking to the cops from the moment she arrived back at the house.
Even when she got to the police station, she had to know she was being videoed and she still couldn't keep her glee and excitement on the down low.
Looking forward to them nailing her for this one.
This one cemented her mental illness (goddess power)
It will always be my opinion that the second shot in Charles laying on the ground was by Lori.
They should have checked her for gunshot residue.
Im sure they didnt? :-/

Yes, she takes "toxic positivity" to an extreme level. Evil doesn't always look ugly at first glance - it can look pretty and perky. So early on the whole case!!
But we all learned so much viewing the police videos , before the rest of the story unfolded.
That giddyness was her trademark.
A behavior that probably covered up so much throughout her life.
At least LE was able to see foul play by Charles body position on the floor.
But that giddyness did prevent other investigation, I imagine. I would have LOVED to have known about any fun residue on Lori. Moo
I don't care what she wears, tbh, and I have confidence that the jury will be influenced by the evidence presented against her and not by what she will be wearing. Let her put on whatever clothes she thinks will make her look innocent - won't matter. She will be convicted and sent right back to prison and into prison attire.Doesn't she realize that when she murdered her children, plus her husband, she basically gave up her rights to be treated like a normal human being?
I really doubt that she is thinking of influencing the jury to like her, it's just her vanity. Which contributed to her being where she is today, IMO.I don't care what she wears, tbh, and I have confidence that the jury will be influenced by the evidence presented against her and not by what she will be wearing. It gives me the impression that she thinks the hearings will be televised. Hope she's denied.I really doubt that she is thinking of influencing the jury to like her, it's just her vanity. Which contributed to her being where she is today, IMO.
Agreed. Makes me think of some of her past Court appearances where she showed up all grinning and smiling while preening with her clown-ish rouge and lip color and her Goldilocks curls. It gives me the impression that she thinks the hearings will be televised. Hope she's denied.
Next thing you know, she'll be demanding "limited edition" colors of Jolly Ranchers.Agreed. Makes me think of some of her past Court appearances where she showed up all grinning and smiling while preening with her clown-ish rouge and lip color and her Goldilocks curls.
Sickening.

I've been wondering if she wants to look a certain way because Chad might be able to see coverage of the trial. It gives me the impression that she thinks the hearings will be televised. Hope she's denied.
Good point and I could see that. Gotta keep up that hot goddess image (which, apparently, a bunch of dead victims doesn't impact). I do think she's batsh** crazy and am thankful it didn't keep her out of prison.I've been wondering if she wants to look a certain way because Chad might be able to see coverage of the trial.
