I believe VCXX is some term for no Violent crimes unit or something like that. Maybe that is the code for the Coyote that this person used. Not sure the meaning used here? I also wonder if there is other text on the back but nobody knows for sure. I am certain this is a migrant that died while crossing the border but this could be a possible homicide?

The first phone appears to be some cheap Mexican/Colombian market Alcatel 3078 which runs on KaiOS. KaiOS is a mobile phone operating system designed for devices like flip phones aka dumbphones though the 3078 also runs apps such as Whatsapp, Youtube, Facebook, Google Assistant and Google Maps (can add more using the KaiOS store). Nowadays, Alcatel phones are sold as TCL (though some US carriers will put their brand on it). Since this phone is also sold in Colombia, I would not discount the UID being a Colombian that came in through the Southern border.

2nd phone aka Verizon Brand phone is actually a ZTE Blade Vantage 2 which is a cheap Android phone commonly used for their prepaid service (perhaps there is a postpaid version). This phone came out by the end of 2019 which could fit the year of Death from 2019-2021. I don't know if the UID got this phone from a trafficker or did he buy this phone somewhere near the border town. I guess the UID had this phone as Mexican phones might not work in the US.
