A Brazilian woman has died after being struck by her husband's coffin when the hearse they were travelling in was involved in a car crash.
The 67-year-old woman was on the way to the cemetery to bury her husband, who had died the day before.
The hearse was struck from behind by an Alfa Romeo car, police said.
The coffin slammed into the head of the woman, who was sitting in the passenger seat of the hearse, killing her instantly, according to officers.

 This is the weirdest story I have ever heard. More at link.

:shocked2::eek::eek: uh i guess he wasnt going down alone

Definately odd... I have heard of stories of people being killed by things moving in their car during an accident. I guess I've always assumed there would be some buckling system or strap system to hold a casket in place (rather than sliding all over the back of a hearse).

yet another case of a husband killing his wife

Seriously though, how sad for the family and how bizzarre.

Nothing but a tragic accident that has allowed two people to enter eternity together.....
