MANCHESTER, N.H. — Authorities now know the true identity of the man known as Bob Evans, the Attorney General’s Office announced Friday.

The man was identified as Terry Peder Rasmussen, who was born in 1943 in Denver, Colorado. Authorities made the identity through a DNA sample provided by someone who was believed to be his child.

Remains officially identified as teen Savannah Leckie, her bio mother arrested:

Prosecutors have brought murder charges against the biological mother of a 16-year-old girl whose burned remains were found on their rural Missouri property.

Ozark County Prosecutor John Garrabrant says Rebecca Ruud was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder and other counts in the killing of Savannah Leckie, who was reported missing in July.

The complaint shows Ruud is charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree murder, as well as felony abuse or neglect of a child, tampering with physical evidence and abandonment of a corpse.

Leon Tripp now faces charges of Murder and Kidnapping in regards to the disappearance of hi stepdaughter Latania Janell Carwell.
Latania’s mother, Tanya, is now charged with Concealing a Death.
Both are currently being held at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

Human remains identified as missing U.S. Army veteran

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - The Cobb County Medical Examiner has officially identified the remains found in Kennesaw on August 1 as those of Chase Massner.

The 26-year-old U.S. Army veteran went missing in 2014, and his remains were found at 555 Farmbrook Trail earlier this month.

[h=1]Ross Lake Search for Missing Woman's Body[/h]An anonymous tip has had led to a diving search team in Ross Lake today.

The Chillicothe Gazette reports law enforcement and the newspaper received a tip through Facebook claiming that the body of one of the area's missing women was dumped into Ross Lake.
Sheriff George Lavender confirmed to the Gazette this morning that search teams from Ross and Franklin counties would begin a search of the lake 10am for the body of Wanda Lemons, reported missing in December 2015.

FIRST ON WITN: Authorities searching property for human remains related to 2008 missing man case

WASHINGTON COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Authorities in Washington County say they have a lead on a homicide investigation from a 2008 missing person case that has led them to search a home on Alligood Road in Creswell.

Washington County Sheriff Johnny Barnes tells WITN investigators served a search warrant on Thursday are currently canvassing the property for human remains.
The sheriff confirmed that this is connected to the disappearance of Craig Swain. The Tyrrell County man was last seen in February 2008 when attending a Super Bowl party on Jones White Road in Creswell.

Police: Concrete slab may hold remains of long-missing woman

MILTON, Pa. - Investigators hope tests on a three-ton hunk of concrete will soon solve the 1989 disappearance of a young mother, by determining whether her remains were fed through wood chipper and then entombed in the basement of a Pennsylvania duplex.

Sunbury Police Chief Tim Miller announced earlier this month that preliminary results showed the concrete contained wood chips, and he's waiting to see if they also hold the remains of Barbara Elizabeth Miller.

A forensic pathologist is "dissecting the walls, so to speak, piece by piece, hammer-and-chisel type, looking for the smallest of clues," Miller, no relation to Barbara Miller, said last week. He called it "mere speculation if a wood chipper was or wasn't used. Obviously the presence of wood chips in a concrete wall is highly suspicious."

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Lewis Bennett, the husband of a Delray Beach woman who went missing at sea, has been arrested by the FBI.
A statement from the FBI says Bennett was arrested without incident in West Palm Beach.

The FBI says it is anticipated that Bennett will make his first appearance in a Key West Federal Court on Tuesday.

Bennett was arrested in connection with the theft of gold and silver coins valued at approximately $100,000.
According to a criminal complaint, law enforcement became aware of coins that had been stolen from a sailing vessel named "KITTY R" that was located in St. Maarten in May 2016.
