VAN NUYS -- Police are searching for the ex-wife of convicted music producer Phil Spector.

Annette Merar, 65, was reported missing from her Van Nuys home Friday, according to Officer Karen Rayner of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Merar is 5 feet 2 inches and 160 pounds and is diabetic, according to family members who say the missing woman may exhibit "possible confusion."

What I found odd is that there is hardly info out there about her.
Numerous news articles, but they repeat the same limited info.

What happened Fri. night?
Did family come home and she wasn't there?
Did she walk to her favorite coffee house
and never came back?
Did she go to dinner and not return?

What was the last time she was seen?
What kind of mental confusion? Does she need insulin
or perhaps early Alzheimers?

Has she gone missing before?

The one good thing is that on her high school page, her friends have added her missing information.

Spector's First Wife Reported Missing

Officials are searching for the first wife of music producer and prison inmate Phil Spector, who was reported missing from her home near Van Nuys.

Annette Merar, 65, was reported missing Friday, said Officer Karen Rayner of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Merar is 5 feet 2 inches and 160 pounds and is diabetic, a local television news station reported.

Does anyone know if Annette is still missing?

Her page on the alumni site doesn't have the information about her being missing now.. It says that she is living in Long Beach... I can't find any news items about her being found, only the ones about her being missing.
