Just scrolling through missing persons in California, there seems to be a lot of men missing in the Bay Area. They all seem to go missing in the months of August, September, and October. Most went missing while in their way to work. I need to go through when I get time and list all of them. It's starts around 1979.

I noticed this too going through all the missing people

He's been removed from the CDOJ website, but I noticed that they tend to do that when the missing persons in question are lost at sea or jumped from a bridge into the ocean. I guess they figure that their remains are not recoverable and remove them from the site.

Its pretty obvious (and sad) what happened here.
Just as you said... unfortunately it is a very personal and brave decision, I think... to jump over the Golden Gate you have to be very brave and determined... sometimes problems have no solution... for example, if you owe money to someone or a bank and they were going to seize your belongings? the only solution is money and if you don't have it, how do you get it? or do they threaten to kill you or your family? a loan shark?... or maybe just depression got the better of you and you really can't go on living...
whatever the case
rest in peace
