She was driving her dark gray 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. She has never been heard from again. Five hours later, her car was found abandoned & burned in an orchard near Traver, California, 30 miles from the casino. There was no sign of her at the scene, Lemoore, not found.) - *Francisco Javier Yanez Valdivia (37/now 42) (estranged husband) arrested (12/13/16), charged & arraigned (12/14/18) with 1 felony count of murder & arson, 2 counts of possession marijuana for sale, 2 counts of cultivating marijuana & storing of it, 2 counts of conspiracy to commit a crime & 1 count theft of utilities service over $400. Plead not guilty. No bond.

@Niner The trial didn’t start. They set a hearing (other) on 4/12/23 at 8:30 am with Judge Reed and the Jury Trial on 4/17/23 at 8:30 am. The docket only updated today. I’ll check in before 4/12 to make sure nothing has changed.

@Niner- Jury selection disappeared from the docket. The only two items are the ones I told you about - motion on 4/20 and Jury Trial beginning on 4/25. They will most likely have to do jury selection on 4/25 unless they put in a date of 4/21 or 4/24 after the motion hearing. I’ll check daily starting on 4/20 to update you.

“402 hearings are preliminary fact determinations to decide the admissibility of evidence. When the admissibility of evidence depends on the existence of a particular fact, that fact is called a “preliminary fact.” (Evid. Code, § 400.)”

I’ll check in on 10/5/23 with an update.
