The decedent was a 64 year old, divorced, White male who resided in a home, in Chula Vista. He was last seen alive by a friend in the early morning hours of 02/20/2021, when the friend went to check on him. At that time, the decedent indicated he was fine, and the friend departed the residence. Some time later, due to not having seen the decedent throughout the day, another friend went to go check on him. The friend found the decedent unresponsive in bed, and Emergency Medical Services were activated. Paramedics confirmed the decedent's death upon their arrival. There were no concerns for trauma or foul play.
