Circumstances of Disappearance:
Gilberto disappeared from West Covina, California on April 7, 1989. He has never been seen or heard from since. He quit his job the day before he disappeared and had recently broke up with his girlfriend. Jurado's vehicle was located by police on April 8 in Yorba Linda in an area of new home construction. The area backs up to the Chino Hills State Park. Few details are available regarding his disappearance and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Could this be a potential match? Photo and artist rendering look very similar to the photograph of Gilberto including the hairline. Height/weight/age aren't far off. The decedent was hit by a car and killed about 25 miles away from where Gilberto went missing about 5 weeks after he was last seen. I tried to look up more information on Gilberto's case (e.g. did he have a history of mental health issues? did he frequent the area where the decedent was killed? had he been known to leave before?) but there's pretty much nothing other than what's in NAMUS. Nothing in either NAMUS profile seems to indicate that it's impossible that these are the same person and I don't see any exclusions associated with either profile.
