Any rule-outs listed?

I wonder if the creek could have carried her a distance, or is she thought to have been placed around the location where she was found?
(ETA: It does sound like it's near a road), so was she a victim who was left there in the water by someone hoping to obscure evidence?

Without more information, I will take a guess she has been reported missing at this point, and we might be able to help.

John Donal Rafferty?

The DNA Doe Project has taken this UID and will perform genealogical research. He is now listed as their pending case

This Doe is listed as female on Namus, not sure if it was changed again. Also according to the DDP dashboard, they are now in active genealogical research. I wonder if the genealogical research proved this Doe is a female.

Identified as Robin Fay Hedrick

Hedrick was born in 1953 and lived in Vallejo. The Sheriff's Office said little is known about her, except that she was last seen in February 1992 in Vallejo

New details emerged in this article. Robin had a son, who probably wondered for 32 years where was his mother.

In 2022, our Coroner’s Bureau submitted Jane Doe’s DNA to the DNA Doe Project. The DNA Doe Project identified a potential relative, which led detectives to Jane Doe’s son. A California Department of Justice DNA laboratory compared Jane Doe’s DNA with the son’s DNA, identifying Jane Doe as Robin Fay Hedrick.

Skeletal remains found in a creek bed off of Pine Flat Road near Healdsburg more than 30 years ago have now been identified as Robin Fay Hedrick.

While the remains were discovered on Aug. 9, 1993, more than three decades ago, the case remained cold due to the extent of the decomposition of the bones, according to investigators.

It wasn’t until 2022 — when the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office submitted the “Jane Joe” DNA samples to the DNA Doe Project — that investigators were able to make some movement in the case. When the Project ran the sample, they were able to identify a possible relative and, in 2023, a California Department of Justice DNA laboratory further compared the “Jane Doe” DNA sample with a person investigators had reason to believe may be the victim’s son, and she was identified as Robin Fay Hedrick.

At this time, investigators say little is known about Hedrick, besides she was born in 1953 and lived in Vallejo.
