Hi, I'm the daughter of a Burkart. My mom's maiden name is Burkart. My Aunt Jenny (Burkart) Guizar has been missing since the mid 80's and I've been trying to find out info. on this.

I live in Ohio and I'm seeking info. on my Aunt Jenny (Burkart) Guizar. She disappeared in the mid 80's in the Ventura Co. California area. Since this time my family and I have heard nothing except that the Police closed the case many years ago. She has one son and his name is Justin Guizar. My heart went a bit quicker, when I read this. I was immediately thinking of Ellery Doe found in 1983. She had a T-shaped scar (probably a thyroid surgery scar), had a child once, 5'4, a mole on her cheek left side, would be about the right age, but Ellery doe had brown eyes instead of blue and no abdominal scar mentioned. Hmmm. Considering MP's surname, she could be of European decent (German or Dutch background).

Wish we had a picture of Jennie (or Jenny) Burk(h)art. See my prior post about a missing aunt.

Romulus can you see at what date this MP was entered in Namus and if she has DNA submitted? Date modified in Namus...I found it....10-9-2018.

That date of death is almost exactly 5 years after she went missing. In California, you can file to have someone declared deceased without a body after 5 years of continuous no contact. I imagine the family filed to have her declared deceased so they could probate the estate.

I tried to send a mail to the persons mail address who was searching for her aunt, but it wasn't delivered. And then to a kind of similar mail address with another provider in November, but I never heard something back.
