"The man had the pain medication Levo-Dromoran in his system."

This right here is weird. Weird weird weird. I've been around all sorts of medications since I was a kid with my dad having all of the pharmaceutical swag and I have never ever heard of this medication. Working as a nurse/NP, I don't recall ever having a patient on this medication. My husband, who has extensive experience working with chronic pain/palliative care/hospice, has heard the name and vaguely knows it's a synthetic opiate but other than that nothing.

That would also be a very weird thing to pick up on the street. You'd encounter methadone a zillion times before you ever came across this stuff, unless maaaybe you worked in a hospital/surgical setting or had a buddy who was willing to divert it for you.

The guy is out there, dressed and ready to do vigorous water activity and maybe even hiked to the spot, yet takes this uncommon strong medication for chronic pain. I'd be interested in someone checking the state database to see who is prescribing this for outpatient pain management and follow up there. Odd that they checked psych hospitals likely due to the Lexapro rx when so many people take SSRIs, yet didn't look into pain management clinics and surgical locales that rx levorphanol. I'm imagining that this would be the sort of situation where one sorta quirky doc is the only one around who writes it.

I don't recall I did. It's been a long time I posted it. Have to look into it again. I did now. What's bothering me is the broken collarbone of Mr. Geppert. Would a healed break be visable or easy overlooked?
