After one-year, $147,000 probe, county releases 7-page report on troubled Children's Services Division

The seven-page report cost the county $147,000. It identifies five "overarching complaint categories." While it states that the findings will serve as an "objective tool with which to enhance practices and policies that support its priority mission of protecting children from abuse and neglect," it offers few concrete examples of how the department will achieve this.

Thank you for posting this, from the article linked:

According to records released by a juvenile judge, Riverside County social workers received at least 10 reports that the Corona boy Noah McIntosh was abused and neglected by his father long before the boy went missing in March 2018. Bryce McIntosh has since been charged with Noah's murder.

This makes me so angry, do we know if CPS ever made an 'official' visit to Noah's dad? :(

An article was released today confirming that complaints had been made against Bryce for 2 years preceding Noah’s death, including investigations in both Riverside and Orange counties.

I don’t want to detail the instances of the abuse outlined in the article because it makes me sick to my stomach, but Bryce is an absolute monster.

It's so sad to think of the many cases on WS of innocent children no longer with us this holiday season:

Noah, Serenity, Caden, Darrell, Amiah, Hania, Lizzie, Maleah, Cupcake, AJ, Duke, Baby Noah and so many others. It's sad beyond belief that in almost all of these cases the murderer was a parent or caregiver of these precious ones. How can we ever fix this? :(

Happy Holidays in Heaven little ones, you touched our hearts forever.

Sorry - I've been putting the wrong court date for McIntosh under Godfrey's stuff. It should be on 12/13 not the 23rd. Sorry - typo...

I just found this article which was published on October 28:

In a likely first step toward a lawsuit, a claim has been filed against Riverside County seeking an undisclosed amount of money in connection with the disappearance and presumed death of 8-year-old Noah McIntosh.

Records show that Attorney, Carly Sanchez filed the claim on behalf of Noah’s estate and his sister on Oct. 3.

“The county of Riverside dropped the ball in investigating this abuse and failed to take appropriate action,” Sanchez said on Oct. 28. “And, unfortunately, Noah lost his life.”

Apparently county officials have made many changes in the Department of Public Social Services since May. These include better safeguards, more training for social workers and expanded audits for cases in which multiple reports of alleged abuse or neglect of a child have been received. The county also extended hours for a team of social workers that works with foster care agencies to find homes for children.

I can never get over how children are abused let alone murdered and it's totally beyond my comprehension. Why do these monsters have children in the first place. Haven't they heard of birth control.
