Tyrrell has a 9-year-old daughter who still hasn't been told her father's missing, his girlfriend said.

His girlfriend said Tyrrell's been very emotionally distraught because his brother’s dying of cancer, and she hopes he would be found so he could "talk to his brother one last time."

That was the only one in Compton, but there are numerous casinos in the surrounding areas. But, if it is true that Rich was in a rideshare to Compton, it makes sense that the Crystal Casino would be the casino that he got a ride to. Although the casinos on this list are just table games, not slots. Notice on the map that I had to use a nearby town of Carson to get google to show many casinos--when I used casinos near Compton, I only got the Crystal Casino:

I'm local to the area. Those are not all casinos on that map. Some are party rental/supply places. There's really only Crystal Casino in Compton, Hustler Casino in Gardena. Admittedly, I don't frequent them so I may have missed a smaller obscure one but I don't think so.

I counted six "casinos" out of the 20 that were listed by google, but I also found out that card rooms can call themselves "casinos" by California law. But if Rich Tyrrell got a rideshare to Compton, and if he really went to a casino, it had to be the Crystal Casino that @doodles1211 located, IMO. That is the only casino with a Compton address.

Isn't that what some of us were sorta surmising here? (Everything here is IMO of course) but that's just my point. I don't see how that is a possibility given what has been reported.

You didn’t miss anything. That was just someone’s speculation. A news article mentioned his phone pinged in Compton. The Sheriff statement only says “Riverside County Sheriff’s investigators believe Mr. Tyrrell is now somewhere in Los Angeles county and are pursuing all leads to locate him.”

LE hasn’t stated his specific last known location.

Yes, it's a theory that has floated around. I took your post as it had been released/confirmed he was dropped off at a casino, though.

I don't think he was dropped off at a casino but I do see the correlation of him having just left one and how that would be a theory.

One thing nagging at me - why did Pechanga need to proactively reach out to the police? Why were the police not actively contacting them for information? I used to be a local resident and don’t have the greatest opinion of RSO, so my views may be biased when hearing that.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend and that you're going through this. Is Compton a common place or even an occasional place Rich has gone or goes to? I'm assuming the answer is no based on my somewhat limited each coast knowledge of that part of LA, but I know you mentioned there was a casino there.

I am praying for Rich, and for his girlfriend of nine years Marcy. The interview of her is truly heartbreaking; it's obvious how much she loves him.
As MassGuy said, LE has plenty to work with. They should be able to track down the ride share guy; and therein the answer should be found.

My heart goes out to his good friend on this thread, and to his lovely girlfriend.
