CAMARILLO - Sabrina Limon, the 37-year-old wife of a slain Helendale man, was arrested Friday on suspicion of murder, days before the trial of a former firefighter from Hesperia accused in the same man's death was scheduled to begin.

Limon was arrested at 7:09 p.m. in the 3300 block of Ivy Garden Court in Camarillo, according to Kathy Archuleta with the Kern County Sheriff's Department.

She was arrested on open charges of murder, attempted murder, solicitation to commit murder, accessory, conspiring to commit a crime and poisoning, according to authorities.

Archuleta told the Daily Press she believed the arrested woman was the same Sabrina Limon who was married to the late Robert Limon, 38, a BNSF Railway worker who was allegedly killed after his shift in Tehachapi by Jonathan Michael Hearn in 2014.

Both Sabrina Limon and Hearn were arrested Nov. 18, 2014, by Kern County Sheriff's deputies following court filings that showed she and Hearn exchanged thousands of text messages, according to previous Daily Press reports. One of the texts Hearn sent Limon suggested they could be together if her husband was out of the picture, according to previous reports.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office made the announcement late Friday night in a press release:

On August 17[SUP]th[/SUP], 2014, the body of 38 year old Robert Limon was located inside a BNSF Railway building at an industrial complex in the 1500 block of Goodrick Drive in Tehachapi. An autopsy determined Robert Limon had been shot.

On November 18[SUP]th[/SUP], 2014, Robert Limon’s wife Sabrina Limon and Jonathan Hearn, an acquaintance of Sabrina Limon, were arrested for first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Sabrina Limon was later released pending further investigation. Jonathan Hearn remains in custody awaiting trial.

Throughout the last 2 ½ years detectives have conducted an exhaustive investigation into the murder of Robert Limon. Detectives have followed up on hundreds of leads developed during the investigation, and have interviewed numerous witnesses.

On January 6[SUP]th[/SUP], 2017, detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of Sabrina Limon charging her with murder, attempted murder, accessory, conspiracy, soliciting a crime, and poisoning. On January 6[SUP]th[/SUP] Sabrina Limon was arrested by homicide detectives in Camarillo, CA. She was transported to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility where she was booked on the arrest warrant.

The investigation is ongoing. If anyone has information on this case they are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.

The accused gunman in a deadly love triangle accepted a plea agreement Monday that will send him to prison for 25 years and four months in exchange for testifying against a woman who allegedly plotted with him in killing her husband in Tehachapi more than two years ago.

Jonathan Hearn, 26, pleaded guilty at about 2 p.m. to crimes including voluntary manslaughter, attempted murder and poisoning before Judge Charles R. Brehmer. Originally charged with first-degree murder, Hearn had faced life in prison if found guilty.

For the deal to remain intact, the judge said Hearn must cooperate with authorities and testify against co-defendant and former alleged lover Sabrina Limon. He must also issue an apology to the family of victim Robert Limon.

Hearn is getting this deal in exchange for testifying against his former lover, Sabrina Limon, who was arrested Friday. Because of this agreement, prosecutors are dropping the murder charges and replacing them with a charge of voluntary manslaughter.

But there was another charge Hearn pleaded guilty to today, a separate charge of attempted murder, yet another bombshell.

Judge Brehmer said the attempted murder took place on March 19 2014, six months before Robert Limon was killed. Details were sparse, but there was another charge that implied the attempted murder involved poison.

Clayton Campbell, Hearn's attorney, told us today "there is new evidence that has recently came to the attention of the authorities that has to do with a prior attempt on Robert Limon's life, and those same charges have been filed against Sabrina Limon."

Campbell also told us that the plea deal was a difficult decision for his client, Jonathan Hearn, to make, but said guilt was the driving force behind it. "he's not a cold-hearted evil man who has no conscious, his conscious compelled him to make this plea", said Campbell.

Campbell also said that to his knowledge, his client hasn't had contact with his former lover, Sabrina Limon, while he's been in jail awaiting trial for the past several years. Limon is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow afternoon.

One thing the cameras didn't capture was just how packed the courtroom was today with family of Jonathan Hearn, while there was only one friend of the victim, Robert Limon, present. We spoke with Limon's friend after the hearing, he was emotional and said the announcement of the plea deal was a total shock. He said if the family and friends of Robert Limon knew it was coming, they would have all been in court for support of the homicide victim.

Court documents show Sabrina Limon was mastermind of husband Robert's death

The document says that Sabrina and Hearn had conspired to murder Robert beginning in March of 2014. Robert was shot and killed in August of 2014.

The document says Hearn purchased poison on March 19, 2014, and provided it to Sabrina, who used sometime in the following month in an attempt to kill Robert.

The document does not specify how Sabrina gave the poison to Robert.

In November 2014, Kern County Sheriff officials arrested a then 35-year old Sabrina Limon on murder charges, but they also arrested a 24-year old Redlands firefighter and paramedic, Jonathan Hearn. Investigators said the two were having an affair for years, plotted Robert Limon's death, and Hearn gunned him down.

Sheriff's interviews with friends of the couple and Sabrina herself imply that Robert Limon was aware of his wife's affair with the young firefighter, and that at some point in their marriage, Sabrina and Robert had an open relationship.

why didn't she think of divorce?

Nearly every social media comment I've seen asks the same question. Some who knew the couple said the motive was money, life insurance and his retirement.

shocking... not :/

do you believe the "open marriage" story?

I'm not sure, I guess there will be witnesses called who will testify to whether or not that was true. I've seen comments that say they were swingers. Is that the same thing?

No. swingers "play" together and there are a lot of rules.

A minor courthouse scuffle in a high-profile murder case could have major consequences for one of the participants. Tuesday, after the arraignment of Sabrina Limon, who is accused of conspiring to murder her husband with her lover, we got a glimpse at the commotion as several law enforcement officers jumped into action to apprehend a friend of Sabrina Limon's.

That woman, Karen Hudgins, now faces felony charges based on her allegedly shoving another a woman, who is a former friend of Sabrina Limon's, and is now testifying against her for the prosecution. Hudgins was in court today, she pled not guilty to two felonies and three misdemeanors, including threatening a witness. But her attorney says the whole thing was just an accident.
