Checking hospitals to see if she is there, I can understand for sure, but did he call the hospitals after he went to the shopping center, and saw her car there, and waited for her to come out and when she didn't, then
hospitals were called? Did he go to the shopping center at all?
He called the police at 7pm and the police found her car.
All of this is confusing and perhaps Kjac can clarify when his father first saw the vehicle in the shopping center, and did he then call the police after waiting to see when she would come out of the shopping center, if any of these things occurred in this fashion?
Gotcha -- good questions. Republishing what Kjac posted to the Facebook page regarding Susan. Perhaps he can clarify:
//snip//
Susan Jacobson, 59, of Sun City Roseville, CA, was last seen on the morning of Wednesday, May 1, 2013, prior to heading out to run some errands. She told her husband, Chris, that she was going to pick up a couple things at Raleys (located at 4051 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd. corner of Pleasant Grove and Woodcreek), and then go to Target (located at 10451 Fairway Dr., Roseville, and which opened at 8am...). Chris last saw her at 6am when he left to go do his normal morning workout she was still finishing some chores around the house and probably left the house at around 7am to go to Raleys. When Chris returned at around 7:30am, she had left already (as expected). He then left shortly thereafter to go to work (and as expected, she had not returned prior to his leaving for work). When Chris returned home from work at around 6pm the same day, Susan was not at home, which was unusual. After calling local hospitals, Chris then called police to report her missing.
Susans car (recent model dark blue Honda Civic) was found that night at the Raleys shopping center. The car was unlocked, which was very unusual for Susan, and her purse was left inside (also unusual for her - she is very protective of her belongings). Her wallet had been found that morning (Wednesday the day she went missing) by a local jogger on the street side of the shopping center, and turned into Starbucks (at approximately 8am that morning) which is located at the corner of the Raleys shopping center. Her ID was in the wallet, but money and credit cards were missing. Susan does not normally go to Starbucks (she does not drink coffee).*
Susan is a white female, 4 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs about 90 pounds. She was likely wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a visor. Susan did not carry a cell phone.*
Susan is retired, and a very routine-oriented person. She does not socialize much, but enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, her sister, and her grown son and his wife. She was very excited to welcome her first grandchild into the world, due in early July. All indications were that she was happy and looking forward to spending time with the new addition to the family.
Susans family and friends would like to see her return safely home. If you have any information that you think would be useful, please contact the Roseville Police Department at 916-774-5070 (or tip line 916-774-5080). Thank you for all your support.
