And the defence didn't question Oxton on any of the really compelling evidence like the blood in the truck, the DNA, etc.

There was a big roll of blue plastic outside of one of the outbuildings... maybe the inside of the truck was protected with it? Something else? Just thinking out loudThere was no mention of blood or DNA evidence in the cab of the green truck, so it looks like he drove to the farm with the 3 victims in the back. If they weren't deceased at that time, they must have been heavily restrained or drugged to make the trek to the farm without being detected. If there was a large amount of blood, would any of it have dripped down between the tailgate and box during transit? Pretty risky, given that someone could have pulled up behind the truck at a traffic light.
