Cops say Brock Beck, 20, may have been murdered as a result of a road rage incident

“I love and miss you my beloved son Brock Cameron Beck,” his father, Barry Beck, former captain of the New York Rangers, wrote on Facebook. “I never got to say goodbye but I see your face with your beautiful smile.”

Cops say this is the suspect car connected to Brock Beck’s murder.

''Early Sunday morning, Brock was stabbed to death outside a home in Binbrook — on the outskirts of Hamilton — in what cops suspect was a confrontation that may have started with road rage.

Hamilton Police Service detectives believe fate began working against the young man at the corner of Binbrook Rd. and Hwy. 56.''

“Words were exchanged and the suspects follow our victim to 3063 Binbrook Rd. The suspect vehicle pulls in behind and in an instant there’s a fight and Brock gets stabbed.”

Multiple times, his father said.

“Brock bled to death on the ground, alone,” Barry Beck wrote in his heartbreaking post.''

Son of New York Rangers' Barry Beck stabbed to death in Canada | Daily Mail Online
''Brock's father, who was the Rangers' team captain in the mid-80s, wrote in a Facebook post that his son was stabbed multiple times and was left to bleed out alone on the ground.

'Why would someone stab him multiple times if not to kill him? I love and miss him desperately,' the former NHL star lamented. 'May god have mercy upon the assailants souls....May God please forgive me for not being there to help my son when he needed me most.'

At around 2am, Brock was driving a 2011 grey Ford Fusion when he got into what has been described as a road rage incident with the occupants of a white four-door sedan at the intersection of Binbrook Road and Highway 56.

The white car allegedly proceeded to follow Brock by driving closely behind his Ford, before its occupants confronted the victim and his teenage companion outside a home in the 3000 block of Binbrook Road.

Police stated that a fight broke out, and both Brock and his friend were stabbed.

The suspects then got back in their car and fled eastbound from the scene on Binbrook Road, and then headed northbound on Highway 56 toward Hamilton.''

Brock Beck: Former NHL Player’s Son Killed in Stabbing | Heavy.com
''At Grinnell-Newburg, Brock made quite an impression, earning multiple wrestling medals. “Congratulations to Brock Beck who placed 4th at the Iowa State Wrestling Tournament,” the school wrote in a February 2019 update. “Beck becomes the first Tiger ever, to earn 3 State medals in wrestling.”

In April of this year, Brock made the announcement on Twitter that he would be attending Central College in the fall.''

murder over road rage?
I hope the cops find more surveillance that identifies the car or suspects more clearly

HUNTER: Former NY Rangers captain raising $100K reward to catch son's killer | Toronto Sun
''Geography, race, religion, income levels do not alter the throbbing agony. Pain doesn’t have a diversity coach.

Former New York Rangers captain Barry Beck is discovering this now.

On July 26, his beloved 20-year-old son Brock was viciously stabbed to death outside a home in Brinbrook on the outskirts of Hamilton.

So far, there have been no arrests and little information other than veteran cops heartsick over the senselessness of it all. Detectives believe the slaying was the tragic coda to a road rage incident. That sadly simple.

Brock Beck was a recent college graduate with a degree in mental health and his whole, glorious life ahead of him. A cold-hearted lunatic shattered those dreams.''

''According to cops, the killer was in a white sedan with others who then fled north to Hamilton that terrible night.

Detectives are asking others who were in the car to do the right thing and come forward.

The occupants of the vehicle are described as a dark-complexioned male, who may have a muscular build and permed hair, and a white male with long hair that was pushed back.

Barry Beck, Brock’s mother and stepfather will take little solace in knowing they are not alone in their suffering. Countless other parents have joined this club of tears in the summer of 2020.''

''If you have any information, contact Det. David Brewster at 905-546-4067 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).''

Only the Sun would insert “pain does not have a diversity coach” into an article like that. Trash.

The 20-year-old university student and son of former New York Rangers captain Barry Beck was viciously stabbed following what cops believe was a road-rage incident in the Binbrook area this past summer.''

''The funds for the reward were privately raised by the Beck family.

Police say the first suspect is male with darker skin, a perm style haircut and possibly a muscular build. The second suspect is a white male with longer hair that has been pushed back.''

''Cops believe there are more than two suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. David Brewster at 905-546-4067.

To provide information anonymously, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit tips at crimestoppershamilton.com.''

Fourth man charged with second-degree murder in Brock Beck’s death
''Hamilton Police say they have charged a fourth man in the July death of Brock Beck in Binbrook, Ont.

Albin Gashi, 18, of Stoney Creek has been charged with second-degree murder.''

''A 16-year-old boy was also injured in a driveway on the night of the killing, which led to the charges of assault causing bodily harm against two of the suspects.''

This poor family. This won't bring their beloved son back. However they won't be free hopefully to do their own thing.

Not that it matters but sure looks like two of them at least are "footballers" who have traveled extensively. Too d#mn bad. Hope they can't get out of a cell.

So devastating. Brock Beck ready to take on life.
